I'm struggling for any reason why Rex would take up for Dak this strongly after what we all witnessed last night?

only conclusion I can come to is, maybe Dak has really attractive feet?
Half of this fan base see absolutely nothing wrong with this Quarterback after what the witnessed last night.

You know when Detroit scored TD's on their first 3 drives and Rams D looked like crap, their offense still scored and kept them in the game and did not gift them points!

if you are blaming the defense for giving up points when Dak handed them the ball inside our 20, I guess that says it all about your perspective on this one.

That was a brush against Cooks' leg from being a 2nd pick 6.
No way that 2nd GB TD is on the defense. Hard stop.
If you are denying the obvious pass interference then that says it all about your perspective on this one

And No the second int, the pick 6 was all on Dak. I said that last night and I'll say it today.

I want you all to look at this display here as an exhibit to the absolute absurdity of these people.

To actually believe that this offense put up those numbers in any semblance of a competitive game and correlate that to the quality of performance is just sad.

You must still believe in Santa there eh chief?

Part of it is, part of it is on CeeDee and part on the defense. Quinn ran man all year, which Love has had trouble with and he comes out in zone....he out thought himself.
Knew that was a bad sign when five minutes in, Olsen starts asking why are they running so much zone.

Every analysis I had seen of game coming into week was that GB struggles with man. And of course, we know what our team is best with.

Lotta people say dak dont play defense. But the best defense is a good offense that can move the ball and score.

How'd we do?

Blatant abuse of stats. 15 yards and loss of down!

DQ had a bad day. No one will dispute this. But he has only been here 3 years and this was his first crapfest.

Dak however has been here for 8 years. The last 3 playoff losses he has sucked and got outplayed by new starting QBs. He is garbage and idk how anyone can defend him
Ha wrong

no PI
dumb throw and poorly located.
And that doesn't even count 2-3 other easy INT"s that GB dropped.

Yes it was clear PI

Your irrational hatred of Dak blinds you to the obvious.

I've yet to see you even place a gram of blame on D for giving up soamy points and huge chunk plays.

May, your blinded to anyone playing poorly but Dak.

Didn't you watch the Rams vs Lions game? Stafford went blow for blow with the lions. Both defenses sucked. There is no reason a 40$ million dollar veteran QB isn't responsible for not stepping up when his team needs him. Dak is what he is.
Thank you. A 60 million dollar quarterback should go blow for blow with Jordan Love. A great playoff QB saves us out of jams. The defense last season against San Fran gave up 19 points. Dakota Rayne could only give us 13 points. Get him off my team!

Look at this delusion.

It was ALL Dak's fault. Say it or be banished from the cult.

Dak didn't play well at all but I agree with Rex. The MAIN issue was the defense. But I'd rather dak not be here next year but the defense is missing 1-2 huge pieces
That's what I thought. All they had to do waa get some stops and they would have gotten back in the game.

Dak represents 25% - OR MORE - of our cap hit next year. Think that might have something to do with “the defense”? Not aimed at you but Rex is a low standard doofus who thought Mark Sanchez was it. You can’t use him as a measure for Dak if the standard is SB.

See the second video on Post #20.

They start bringing that up.

We are getting a new Head Coach next year, we know it.

But this is going to be like the Sean Payton, Russell Wilson situation.

I would probably make sure the HC is cool with Dak's extension first, or you're going to end up like that Denver mess.

Best game analysis of national sports morning shows. Rex Ryan gives Dak a break, but Dan Orlovsky goes hard on him. All 3 though agree that DQ was schooled by GB. Green Bay set up a clinic on how to deal with Dallas defense. Recommend you watch video to see the gameplay they break down. Can't bulletin point it.

Rex Ryan
  • This defense stunk! I don't know why they got outcoached but point to defense period!
    • They struggle with teams that run the ball.
    • 9 1/2 yards on 1st down the Cowboys gave up! That's incredible!
    • Why are you playing 6 DBs for 48/54 snaps against the run??? You don't do that when you're getting your brain kicked in.
  • Dak Prescott is the future of the team. Played MVP all year and talking about not going to bring him back??
    • Overall performance, hell no, not on Dak
    • Dak didn't play well, but compared to that defense he looked like a superstar, Joe Montana wouldn't have had a chance
    • I would have loved to have Dak as my QB.
    • Calls out some of Dan Orlovsky's game tape below
  • Dallas is not built to win in January, every loss, other team ran on something like 100-110 times, passed on 60-70 times
  • I thought the entire football team looked shocked after GB's first drive.
    • When you hear comments from Jerry Jones, Dak, McCarthy.. they just assumed they were the mighty Cowboys and could lay their jocks on field and dominate and win
Dan Orlovsky
  • Same thing happened we talked about on Monday, bad matchup (that video was posted last week)
    • Jordan Love under center
    • Ton of presnap motion
    • Ton of playaction pass
    • Cowboys defense struggled all season with that but no one listened
    • See video for examples.
  • Run Game, split flow. Run one direction then cut backside. They did it to Parsons 6x. Clearly they game planned against Parsons.
    • DQ is a great coach, but Green Bay ran circles around him.
  • I thought Dak looked under panic. Uncharacteristic decisions.
    • See video for examples. Dan runs down many bad decisions.
    • Both interceptions were not good decision to throw. See his video examples.
    • This defense allowed Tommy Cutlets and Bryce Young to be NFC Player of Week. Everyone made fun of it.
    • EVERYONE thought Dallas offense would go up and down on it.
    • No one debates if Dak is a good player, he has his entire career. But once again when they needed him, going against a kid who was in his first playoff game on the road, he failed.
Domonique Foxworth
  • GB wanted to avoid 3rd down at all costs
  • Playaction was the killer. Big shots taken on 2nd down.
  • Max protection against Micah, then just manned up and #11 still didn't make play
  • Offensive Line not only pushed Dallas back but out-schemed Dallas defense.
  • Dominique agrees with Rex Ryan. Wasn't all Dak bad decision on one interception. Great execution by GB's defensive backs.
    • But this is irrelevant. Dak and offense have to show up in a big game like this and keep them in game
See Reply #20 for second part of show.

100% agree with Rex Ryan the coach. He knows what he's talking about. Dak made some mistakes (1 INT was on him), but the game was lost from the beginning to the very end by Dan Quinn and his horrible defense. If anyone should be let go, it should be Dan Quinn.

See my comments above. Rex is a bully and you have to push back hard on him. Dan isn't that type, but Damien Woody is.

Sometimes I feel like Rex is trying to keep himself out there for a new job. This isn't first time I've seen him by the "savior hero" for a person who obviously didn't deserve it. Might be his ego doing that too.

But that's how he was as a Coach. Protective of his guys. LIke I put in post above, these guys bring their old habits into their analysis.
Bingo. Rex is his dad’s son….it’s all about making him look good in the end. “My defense would have….”
