Brady was suspended for interfering with an investigation. They found it inconclusive whether or not he knowingly deflated the footballs

True, but I mean, the fact that she didn't sue, and the fact that the leagues investigator thought she wasn't credible leads to questions as to the validity of the case. Topping that off with the league's team also recommending no suspension for Zeke is more of a reason why I think a lot of fans here, myself included, are upset about this decision along with Zeke's suspension. If she was credible, then sure, I think we'd have understood that Zeke was in the wrong and that the suspension was valid. The problem is that they suspended him despite the above points.

The leagues team didnt find her credible? That makes no sense. It was the police that didnt think there was enough evidence to convict so they didnt press charges. Her word against his.

The league obviously found her somewhat credible as they suspended Zeke.

first off, not 24... but 5. Secondly, because you dont pay attention nor have you read the personal conduct policy, there is a very specific reason the words NON VIOLENT were used. In legal issues (make no mistake this was a legal issue.... the personal conduct code is the NFL's equivalent to the criminal code) actual terminology that is spelled out in the CBA matters... thus why NON VIOLENT matters.

you just dont understand how this works. Why do you think they were threatening to sue if he got a year suspension? its called posturing. They now say its too long to make it like they are unhappy PUBLICLY because they know the league can still appeal. What do you expect them to say right now?? Come out, hold a press conference all giddy and say yea babay... not only did we get the games we wanted, but the fine is only 345k..... screw you Roger!!!! Seeing how this decision was from an independent arbitrator and NOT ROGER GOODELL, this is proof of nothing.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, NFL lead investigator Kia Roberts testified this week that she recommended that Elliott not be suspended for his alleged domestic violence incidence.

"Not only did Roberts play a key role in the Elliott case, but she was the only NFL employee who spoke to Elliott's accuser, Tiffany Thompson, during the 13-month investigation.
However, Roberts, who was the only person to speak with Thompson, pointed out during her testimony during the appeal this week that she was never consulted about Elliott's suspension or even asked to make a recommendation, which would have been zero games" this looks to me like the investigator didn't agree with suspending Zeke. She was the only one who met with the accuser from the league office. If what you're saying is true, then why didn't more people meet with the accuser? What was the point of sending her to meet with the accuser if they were just going to suspend Zeke anyway?
 
Michael Vick was suspended indefinitely for what he did but it turned out to be only 4 games for which he was eligible. Most of his suspension took place while he was in prison.

2 things... 1, Rose should be back in baseball and in the HOF. But you are incprrect. In naseball, teams manage pitching rotations based upon playing a long season. If I got 150k on a game, maybe I alter that to try to win today and screw tomorrow.... dont bet on games no matter what.

2nd, Watson committed a crime in your eyes, not in the eyes of any prosecutor or any grand jury as they never charged him. End of that discussion.

Other than Zeke shouldn't have been suspended as there were significant questions of credibility against the accuser in that case. I'm aware Goodell didn't make this decision. However, my objection is that the suspension for Zeke stood despite the only person from the league office, according to https://www.___GET_REAL_URL___/s/www.cb...ase-reportedly-recommended-no-suspension/amp/, to meet with the accuser recommending no suspension for Zeke.

He destroyed it, and then claimed he’s so famous he does it with all his electronic devices for fear of identity theft. Plausible, but timing was suspicious
