where are they open? I didn't see it? or do you maginfy the space between those guys with a magnifying glass so it looks bigger?

if you actually put your bias aside and actually look at how the play unfolded, the throw was to CD, except the defender in the middle left his WR after the throw and kept going and ended up doubling up on CD
if you looked at when the QB actually gets ready to throw, both CD and Schoon are on teh 35 yard line and schoon is covered. him being open after the throw is meaningless. at that point CD is actually the most open WR, with plenty of space in front of him, if the throw gets there (which it didn't). if anything, he should have lofted it over, as opposed to throw it hard at him....

sorry dude, this was a big fat fail of reading how an offensive play unfolded. you just peed your pants (perhaps sharted).
Yeah Dak needs 5 yards of separation every throw right?

Wrong "throw type"

Lol cultists come up with their own jargon to excuse Dear (in the headlights) Leader
what!?

that was criticism of Dak. not defending him. if you actually read the comment instead of just reading three random words, you would have realized.

he darted the ball into CD, which allowed the saftey to break it up. instead of throwing it over the top, leading CD further down field away from the defender.

geez dude. you peed your pants in your haste to respond quickly

Oh....you think we should have gone with Lance this year? A QB that that the 49ers gave up 3 1st round picks for and then gave up on him for the last person drafted in his draft class? Have you watched the #1 overall pick this year in Chicago? How's he looking? And you think this team would ever position themselves to get the #1 overall pick?
he just needs more snaps. did you see him run

Then maybe you should question your ability to assess football.
Normally I wouldn’t take offense to this type or comment but it’s coming from someone who brought us timeless classics like “Micah Parsons is the next Jaylon Smith”….it hit different.

OMG, take a chill pill dude. it had nothing to do with the conversation. in your haste to post a response knocking dak you peed your pants. now go change
Ah no criticism for the great Dak. Both guys are opened. Dak locks on to cd and doesn’t even look at anyone else.

The play is the play. How on earth do you expect Dak and CD to magically get on the same page, in a micro-second and change the route?

Dak was baited on that play. Dak should have done what you suggested at the TE, who got a full step and half on the defender and just needed the ball put out in front of him. Possible TD, possible incompletion. No possible interception.

Schoon wasn't open. and he wasn't even looking for the ball when Dak started throwing.

secondly, if both are open, would you try for the top 3 WR in the league or the back up TE?

seriously.....

if you actually watched the video, he started looking left, came to the middle and was staring at the WR between the hashes (can't read his number) and then went to CD...
The routes were designed for CD to be the first option. the other WRs not sure what the heck they were doing. might as well just stood still

Jerry wasn't joking when he said CD needs 15-18 targets a game

imagine if Fouts and Marino cried and pointed fingers at their defenses.
Those guys had no defenses but managed to put up some epic performances.
Marino had Curtis Chambers, I always thought he was a good WR, but I was also a kid lol.

Schoon was behind the coverage, but it would’ve taken a very good throw. Turp came open late; it required patience. Problem was that Lamb was never open.
That’s all Im saying…. Lamb was the worst option but it’s an exaggeration to say guys were open.
