I think Portugal will lose in the quarters/semis if they keep playing a 4-5-1 against better teams. also, their marking on set pieces wasn't that great. they have to fix that.

Actually Dave, Italy did beat France once in the last 30 years (that dreaded world cup final in 2006), they just had never beaten them in regulation since 1978.

Yeah, I was talking about regular time and not games solved with penalty. Last win was in world cup 1978 in Buenos Aires, opening game, 2-1 after a sudden score in the first minutes by Lacombe

i dont think russia can win it all. they looked so vulnerable on set pieces. italy and germany would eat them alive on any free kick or corner
