So you can't put together why Dez's numbers dropped 2015-2017?

2015: Injuries + playing with Matt Cassel, Weeden and Kellen Moore as your QB.

2016: Transition into run dominant offense that didn't emphasize the pass. Less passing = less gaudy stats for receivers.

2017- Dak's regression, offensive scheme's stagnation.

Also, if you're arguing Dak is even half the passer, as in talent throwing the football, as Romo is, I can't help you.
Do you see what you are doing? You are making excuses for Dez over a 3 year period of time. That is a long time!! I agree Garretts Offensive passing schemes/philosophy are not NFL caliber and that is part of the reason why Dez and Dak struggle at times, but Dez is not the same receiver he was in 2014. He is not winning 50 50 balls consistently and he is not getting the seperation he needs to. I like Dez, but I don’t think he is the same player he was in 2014. Also, as for comparing Dak and Romo. Like most Romo lovers( I always liked Romo, but he made to many mistakes in big games for me)you need to take off your Rose colored Romo glasses. As a pure passer with a prettier spiral, yes Romo has the advantage over Dak, but there were many great QB’s who didn’t throw pretty spirals, like Payton Manning. If you take the time to compare Dak’s first 2 years playing with Romo’s first 2 years playing, Dak was much better. I think Dak has intangibles( football intelligence, strong desire to be great, exceptional work ethic, major chip on his shoulder, natural confidence, very calm in pressure situations which helps you make the right decisions) that will help him become more successful than Romo, especially IF Garrett can fix his basic simple passing scheme. One of the biggest differences between Dak and Romo is Dak’s natural calmness in pressure situations.

Lol, a slick ball? How many other excuses for him do you keep in your pocket?

It’s really hilarious how many of you supported Dak and wanted to trade Romo after the first few games. After the first season Dak was all the rage now he’s trash according to many. Talk about jumping ship, probably the same people that wanted is to lose out barely half way through the season.

Romo
1st season: 13 INT’s
2nd season: 19 INT’s
3rd season: 14 INT’s

Dak:
1st season: 4 INT’s
2nd season: 13 INT’s

There’s obviously several other stats to compare, some which favor Romo and some that don’t, but this Romo love affair and Dak bashing after his SECOND year is ridiculous.
Every positive stat favors Romo and it's not even close so please go ahead and compare them

What does have photo of a specials teams play have to do with QBing?
Calmness under pressure!! When Romo scrambled around left end and got tripped up at the 2 yard line, he should have dove with the ball out stretched as far as he could. He didn’t do that. He kept the ball at his hip and was short of a TD by a yard. This was not the only mistake he made during his career because he let the pressure get to him. Another example: In the 2014 playoff game vs GB when he fumbled late in the 2nd quarter. While in shotgun formation with the ball IN THE AIR Romo looked toward the left, away from the ball, when he looked back the ball was on him and he fumbled. What QB looks away from the ball while it is a matter of feet from your hands. The next play GB blocked our FG attempt. That play shifted the momentum to GB.

Take of your Rose colored Romo glasses. Aria, posted the interceptions stats for both Romo and Dak in their first 2 years. What did that tell you? Also Dak made huge plays with his feet to score TD’s in his first 2 years, Romo seldom did.

Nothing. It has to do with him choking in big games and over rating his overall performance as a player when it mattered most. If you continued to read the thread you would see I brought up other examples of his uncanny ability to not get it done when it mattered most as a QB. If you would like me to provide more examples of how he blew it in big games AS A QB I’ll be more than happy to do so.

Really? Try going back and reading the first stat I posted of Dak’s INT’s vs Romo’s INT’s during their first two years. Please tell me how that favors Romo or stop typing so you don’t make yourself look worse.

More excuses from a Romo loving loser who trolls the site looking to argue with people. I quoted stats the other day and you call me out and make a big deal about how I was wrong about a pick 6 vs an INT that led to a TD. Now I provide stats and they’re not acceptable because they’re a decade old. You’re a joke dude, I’m putting you on ignore to prevent myself from getting banned and because you literally provide nothing. All you do is try to prove people wrong to make yourself feel better.

BTW, I guess you didn’t want to take me up on meeting for a beer? No surprise. Reply all you want and feel free PM me so I can tell you what I really think but I’m done with you. For me to put you on ignore says enough, it takes a monumental idiot for that to happen.

Another thing that Dak needs to work on is protecting his receivers on throws across the middle. He leads them into the defender, that's going to get someone carted off the field. If you go back and look, most of Dez's drops are when he's running crossing patterns with a safety or a lber getting ready to clean his clock.
That’s what #1 do!

Easy to accomplish that when you have 5 yard dump offs to every other receiver. But anything over 10 yards to Dez is off target.

Most of Butler’s catches were far downfield. You can like this post, Williebeamen.

Not necessary. I'm already aware of your childish and irrational obsession with hating on Romo, and that he was not always perfect.
It was just a poor example using a special teams play photo that you probably have you on your wall with vaseline in hand....ammo for your cheap insults.
Just a chump move on your part....notice I didn't actually call you a chump. But your hate for Romo IS very chump-like.
