Not when you are using it disprove causation. While correlation does not necessarily imply causation, it does follow that if there is no correlation then there is no causation.
At the end of the day the reefer madness fearmongering hasn't played out in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, etc. There ideas did not bear out in reality.
What causation were you disproving?

Appeared to me you were saying since legalization, traffic accidents in Colorado were down, indicating that the cause for less traffic accidents in Colorado was do to legalization?
