Ok....let me ask you one question....So if Romo was to get injured...what would be different this time around?

Who should they have gotten to back up Romo? Rogers and Brady are not available, so, who?

That post is not trolling. He list the reasons that supports his opinion. You may not agree with him, but that doesn't make him a troll.

It's trolling. Asking why the team puts up with McClain and then why the team turns its back on Hardy? Come on man...

There is no doubt that the coaches and front office think that the reason for the 4-12 season was Romo's injury and if he stays healthy, that the team will be Super Bowl contenders with him this year. I think they was not nearly aggressive enough in improving the roster this offseason due to that thinking. There is a good chance it will come back to haunt them.

The team has been really conservative in free agency for a few years now. It wasn't just in response to the 2015 season. They've been signing guys like Mincey, Selvie, etc. and shying away from the larger purchases since they signed B Carr.

They didn't shy away from the high priced guys because they think they're set... they didn't sign them because you pay good players like they're pro bowlers and pro bowlers like they're the best in the league at their position. Stephen Jones even said as much this off season. You overpay the top tier guys and Dallas knows it. They don't want to do that anymore.

Now, are you correct in that they should have signed some better players? I don't know... maybe you are (although Thornton was a damn good signing at a good price). I'm not saying anything about that. However, their frugal free agency period this year wasn't a reaction to last year's injuries, IMO.

No need then for you to watch any games this year. So sad.

I really don't like most of what we did this offseason, apart from VFA. Even there, I didn't like that we didn't address QB2 because it's a huge need and a bigger risk to rely on Moore. I didn't like spending a top-5 pick on a RB, and I liked even less spending the #34 pick on an injured player who may never take the field on the heels of spending our 2nd pick on a guy with substance abuse issues the year before.

That said, I really liked what we did last year, and that turned into a disaster. I've seen enough football to know that you often can't tell how a year will work out just looking at the offseason on paper. How many Dream Team's have ended up in disaster? You just have to guess and then see if you're right.

Outside of the Pats game, Weeden played well. His QBR was better than Romo's.

That is a case where numbers don't reflect reality. Weedan is not as effective as Romo and he had minimal impact last season. He hurt the offense by his sinking and dunking style. It looks good on the stats , but not so good on the scoreboard.

I might not. On most Shndays , my time could be better spent doing other things. My life doesn't depend on watching a football game.

Do you really think that Moore is better than any other option available? The quality of the QBs available may be bad, but let's be honest, Moore is far from being as good as most team's backups.

It's not the place. I just don't happen to like what we've done this year. It doesn't mean I don't think our fans aren't a bunch of entitled babies.

I'm excited to see what the team can do this season. But most of my excitement is because things we've done in previous seasons should start paying off. And even though I didn't like the pick, I'm looking forward to seeing Elliott and the running game. Id rather have added a defender, but EE is going to be a beast for us.

The defense failed us the first six games of the season(outside of the Eagle game). He's a back-up who isn't Jon Steven Young. He gave us a chance to win the Falcon and Saints games, the team didn't do the job around him.

He was awful against the Pats, but that game was more of a reflection of Belichiks coaching staff >>>>> Garrett's coaching staff. And that game ruined our season(besides losing Romo) because that game lead to matt cassel(lower case) starting the REST OF THE SEASON!

Weeden played for Weeden last year...he knew it was his last chance to get another contract and didn't want to look bad....when he checked down his numbers looked good but the offense looked terrible....when he actually uncorked a couple throws he looked bad...

Weeden, Cassel and KMoore all provided some of the worst QBing we have ever seen in DAL....none of them are capable of playing a complete game or making all the throws it takes to win...
