That guy got his ring. He is done.
The thread should have stopped here LOL The guy is still dominant but plays when he wants to . At 34 the last goal in his career was achieved . Comming here where there is zero chance of a SB turns him into a classic Paycheck collector . We dont need that . The only way he plays hard again is with Tom Brady and the BUCs knowing there is a good chance for another championship and maybe HOF credentials but that is a far reach

I'm going Keanu Neal (S) and Richard Sherman (CB).....both have played in Quinn's system.

Side note: I'm still drafting CB and S within the first three rounds

Patrick Peterson at Safety

Mike Davis at CB

Nothing is all one way forever; too many here think the Cap will only go up by huge amounts. This year proved that wrong. No one knows anything for certain. So its frankly really stupid to base your whole operation on projections that have NOW serious doubt.
It is entirely possible that the cap levels off for a few years due to the decline in rating and the decrease in the NFL’s popularity. Add in the fact that most of the players that Dallas has signed to big contracts are not playing up to those contracts and it is easy to see that a lot of cap space is wasted on underperforming players, so Dallas is not getting much value for the money they are spending.

My opinion backed by experts who can analyze and rank performance. Just to make it clear that it is not just my opinion. Its the opinion of statistics and analysis.

Statistics and analysis cannot have an opinion... that is Anthropomorphism.

THIS shows exactly how big of a d-bag you really are. No one needs your likes. Get over yourself!
Risen has been placed upon a pedestal for a reason. He is the king of “likes” and you should show respect for his accomplishments and his position. Jealousy is not a good look for you.

Dude I wish I could like this more than once. Too many think Outside CB can be good slot guys or good safeties. Techniques and mindset are different.
I don’t like the ideal of paying over-the-hill CBs to play safety when they have never played the position. There is no future in it IMO. It might be the only way to address the safety position because Jerry has shown that he is not willing to draft safeties until the late rounds. A young, talented safety would have a huge impact on the defense for years to come.

Its frustrating reading people thinking you can have a secondary with a bunch of rookies and second year guys. When seattle became contenders kam and earl were 4 year vets, browner like 8 years in and Sherman was a 3 year vet. I dont know where this all rookie secondary dream comes from for some fans. If you like Grant then we need a vet cb. If you like Surtain then we need a vet safety. You cant have both and expect cohesion back there
You have a point about experience being important, but signing a bunch of old, slow DBs is not going to help much either. Dallas can’t afford a FA signing of a good DB in their prime, but we can still dream about one.

Creed Humphrey, Brown, Radunz, and Darrisaw could creep up into the bottom of round 1 actually. This is the second tier of tackles..and they are very good. Not sure what you mean. Oline is one area that is widely known to be solid in this draft. Corner is the other. Everything else is a crap shoot.

i was talking a bit premature to cut 3 f 5 starters from SB team and we saw what happened with many elite qbs who got their OL messed with and they pick 31st in every round.... Wilson wants out, Watson wants out,,now Mahomes gets paid and they want to go rebuild on that many postions..im saying no one in the draft ois LOCK,,.i dont care how deep it is..if i was KC i would cut a TE or WR not 3 OL..Point trenches are important and draft picks are high risk. Maybe read back further to my actual point ..who cares how deep draft is , thats not a guarantee any of them work out..

ive seen Heisman trophy winner and super star players come from college to the nfl and fall on their faces..that happens more then them becoming good..

I like how hypocritical this place is,

if we dont tank to get into top 5 we are doomed because at 10 in each round, we can find a player LOL OMG we didnt get the 15th pick one year over the last game win and pick 17th this place acts as if an apocalypses just went down but team cuts 3 starting OL and pick 31st in every round and this place says oh no problem they got this..:p)):rolleyes::eek:

I would love to have one of each CB or S But my greatest wish is Dalvin Tomlinson DT
After watching games from last year how we just got ran all over We need a DT He is better IMO then any thats in this draft. They are loaded with CB and S getting someone like Tomlinson and pick up Sherman to play S or Neal gives us the option to go BPA
Slater Pitts Farley Surtain Parsons
If the defensive line is not upgraded, no DB signing or DB draftee is going to improve the defense very much.

By measurables he was average at best at stopping the run (and I am being charitable). He was far far from the strong link on their line. His pass rush skills are not what they were which leaves a upper low end starter who will likely get mid tier starter money. He is worth 1 year 3-4 million, but will likely get 1 year 6-7 million just from his name and getting to be on the same line as much better players.

Sign me up. Worth is based, not just on market value, but also on need.

We need to stop the run.

Suh would fit in perfectly with the Hot Boyz.
I have never cared for Suh in the least because of his dirty play, but I would worship him if he would come to Dallas and destroy the Hot Boyz club forever. Every time I hear the name, that horrible porn music starts to play in my head and I try to block the visions of gay porn out of my head. It’s such a disgusting name.

heres a novel idea..PLEASE DRAFT A PURE TRUE SAFETY! lol...Draft a couple decent tackles. Draft a true MLB like KJ Britt. We have to get back to being a physical team on defense and we gotta sure up the oline.
