FEATURED FA agent thread

Little D I'm not sure about that.........these are old vets just a hair from being PUSHED out of the league. Doubt either will have s bunch of teams ringing their phones IMO.

If caps are strained around the league and older players know this is their last hurrah, wouldn't they rather play for a quality team over a loser? This would probably be their last chance for the limelight and a SB season. Who wants to play for Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami or the Jets?

Patrick Peterson at Safety

Mike Davis at CB

LOL ...I keep seeing this but haven't seen when/if anyone has bothered to ask Pat if he's willing to move to safety. We may want to get that part cleared up (LOL).

We are NOT a loser LittleD........you wrong (lol)

Lol why. He is terrible at this point in his career
BB is not genius he couldn't adjust to injury and players lost any better then MM and then brings back a JAG at the most important postion on the field..hes banking on the defense being better and most likely focus in the run game, may be he believes one of the young guys might be ready..

I have never cared for Suh in the least because of his dirty play, but I would worship him if he would come to Dallas and destroy the Hot Boyz club forever. Every time I hear the name, that horrible porn music starts to play in my head and I try to block the visions of gay porn out of my head. It’s such a disgusting name.
Haha..I hate Suh for his dirty play. I despise people who cheer for another player to be injured but that is one guy I would actually laugh at if he went down. He has purposely tried to injure/ruin other players careers with cheap shots and dirty plays. I really don’t want to see him in a Cowboys uniform and I would still laugh if he got hurt whether he is a Cowboy or not. Screw that chump.

Although....if he blew up the Hot Boyz name and little clique then perhaps I could change my mind. I couldn’t agree with you more, the name seems like something affiliated with dudes dancing around in leather outfits at Le Bear or Chippendales or worse. It’s horrendous and embarrassing, especially considering how bad they actually are.

Not much cap even after restructuring 3 players. 9+mil to sign up to 10 draft picks. Best players signing 1 or 2 year deals with teams likely to make the playoffs which ain't us.
Dallas is not a sought after destination after 25 years of losing. Just the facts!

They have $19 million at this moment. That should be enough to do what they normally do, which is sign some players to fill out their roster holes going into the draft.

That would leave them about 10mil to sign their own expiring players and maybe 1 2nd or 3rd week FA if any wants to come to Dallas which is dubious.

He isnt even that at this point. He is one of the worst starters in the NFL now.

This just smacks of arrogance by Billicheck

We shall see. I’m not saying he’s good anymore. But a full camp, a year in their system and not having Covid should go a long way to helping him be average

Really? your idea of winner vs loser is definitely different than mine. Parcells said you are what your record says you are!

I agree 100% with Parcell but you're looking at last year ( I think ). I'm thinking over the last 4-5 years we are not losers. By your thinking, the 49ers, even the Pats are also losers.

I would love to get Suh at the right price in terms of his past I don't care for it, then again in all honesty I felt that way about Haley and his actions often directed at teammates. However Haley brought a toughness and frankly a meanness that defense needed. If Suh could come here and help shut down running lane great. Not planning on inviting him to a social gathering.

IMVHO, finishing 8x8, 7x9, 9x7 is not winning. Even 10x6 and not making the playoffs to championship game is not winning. Losing begets losing which has been happening around Jerry for over 25 years and counting.

Statistics and analysis cannot have an opinion... that is Anthropomorphism.
* It was probably but a mere clerical oversight pertaining to his obvious itinerary of intended impartation,,,,ain't no biggie, BROUGHAM'S

Durron Harmon and Kevin King

Harmon is a vet that can do the job for a year or 2 while a rookie is developed

King will fit into Quinn’s scheme perfect

They will sign the same level of players they normally do. One of the Falcon's Safeties, probably Awuzie or another Corner, maybe try McCoy again or another defensive tackle. They can restructure several players if they really wanted to get a top tier free agent, but the odds are that they will pass.

No way I would extend Zeke or Jaylon at all. Those guys are already wasted money. Lawrence is most likely the only guy left after the OL restructures. The Cowboys have lots of their own guys to try and keep. Remember, Jerry likes his guys.

Agree here........he was awful last year but in his defense, they keep trying to change him into something he's not. In his last couple of years in Carolina, Riveria brought Norv Tuners to increasing his passing percentage. Norv had him dinking and dunking, the same last year with the Pats. That's not Cam, he wants to air it out, use his legs. There's an arti9cle out there of several Pats coaches admitting they saw a player work as hard as he did last year. Most of his days started at 5:30 am and ended at 10-11 at night. This contract tells me Belichick would love to see this workout but he's just sure if Cam has much left in the tank.
