Can teams still money whip players that have verbally agreed to terms?
It’s rare but it happens. The Jets agreed to terms with OLB Anthony Barr a couple years ago. And the Vikings matched it and the last second and he changed his mind. Can teams still money whip players that have verbally agreed to terms?
Right unless the player represents himself like Fitzgerald and Sherman.Possibly. But they are unable to negotiate with players yet. Only agents

Probably from the Cowboys.
Nope...think we would have done that last year if he was an option.Any chance we scoop up Earl Thomas on the cheap?
I imagine he would've wanted a much bigger pay-day last year. Now he's out of the league unless he takes a prove-it dealNope...think we would have done that last year if he was an option.

If we can get a HOF caliber Safety for $1mn, you got to do it.Screw him. He chose money over Cowboys twice already.
and TB is reloaded.patriots swingin' hard in the early part of f/a.
and i don't think they're done.
belichick is pissed.
In your mind maybe. You realize It's only been 2 hrs right? And every year those you claim whine tend to be spot on with regards to the Cowboys and FA.
So maybe the right word isn't "whining" but rather "dealing with reality".
Probably from the Cowboys.
It's the plethora of whining that is disappointing. It's only been ~2hrs since things opened up.If they sign a guy like John Johnson, I'm going to be nuts with excitement, yet someone else is going to be against the money he was given and "whine."
Just kind of how it is.
No matter what does or doesn't happen, there will be two sides.
If mediocre Dalton is kicking our butts, than we weren't going anywhere anyway.
