They also had a much better front 7. I'd still be willing to roll the dice on him.
We are just looking for a bridge veteran starter to hold down the spot for a prospect that will be drafted this yr. It's all going to come down to price. Heard Whitt, our DB Coach prefers to lean on veterans, so maybe they sign a Rhodes type.

Got it. Man, we need every guy taken through 4th round to be ready to start or contribute.

That's a bit of a stretch man. I think in a typical draft you want at least your 1st 2 picks to be starters right now. Even that might be a stretch. Getting 4 guys to start in a draft is pretty tough. Nevermind all of the talent in the draft that took the year off. So we will see. If this team is going to handle free agency like this they better get some day 1 starters out of this draft that's for sure.

Id say. 4 years. Look at the moronic posts about how "this free agency" is Daks fault because we have no money. Yet you ask them why we didnt sign anyone prior to signing Dak and they have no answer. Its incredible lol
I knew this would happen to even though this is the same approach this team took when Dak was getting paid pennies lol.

Outside of some bad AFC Teams with huge cap space, nobody really has improved that much thus far. TB bringing back their starters are probably the early winners thus far.

That’s why free agency is so key to fill holes before the draft

Not for Dallas. Our drafting is to fill holes we made ourselves. And around and around it goes. We never draft to beef up our core. We draft to replace guys we let walk. Not a winning strategy at all. This front office has zero idea how to build a defense. None. Nada. They ignore DT and safety and build it from the outside in.

evidently he wouldnt sign the cheapo deal with cowboys, so ......moving on!!:p
Cowboys aka SJ, will sign any of our guys that will sign a cheap deal, but if they want a decent deal, they have to look elsewhere.
Only the stars and jones boys fav's get paid decent here.

anybody who thought we will sign good FAs who might actually help this defense have not been paying attention or more likely just woke up from a coma,Stephen jones will continue this cheapskate approach long after jerry is dead.

This is such a dumb take, and you're not alone. He is a starting-caliber CB.

CB is the greatest measuring stick of how little football other than the Cowboys people on this board watch.
Dude literally graded out as a league average starter his whole career. Have no idea why people say this guy was trash. He was solid, but not spectacular; aka a starter.

You really have to stop calling people haters should they have an opinion that differs from your own.
I don't call people haters who have an opinion that differs from mine. I call people haters who do nothing but hate all the time on any subject related to the Cowboys. Like you do.

Players signed this early, usually get market level contracts.
Or more
But many teams don’t have much money so if I was a player I’d sign fast before the teams with cap space get their shopping done
