he does do that. kinda weird to be like that on a message board. on a different note whenever i see Hank Hill from the show King of the Hill I always think of Hostile for some reason

The opinion wasn't interesting to me and wasn't worth my time. I at least told you to enjoy your rant, so it isn't like I was telling you to shut up or anything. I just wasn't the least bit interested and see no reason to pretend I am.

The entire staff lost a friend recently and being called fanboy, little girl, and insulted by someone I am not insulting just doesn't seem to be worth an ounce of my spit or piss.

Trying to get a real opinion: Does anyone think that Favre's body will hold up the entire season?


My first thought after last season would be no, but I think that with him having the ability to give the ball to Peterson and Taylor, he might be able to save himself some wear and tear.

Side note: He also should get quite a few chances at throwing the deep ball off of play fakes.

They had been through his "Should I stay or should I go?" charade for the last few seasons and basically needed to know if he was coming back or not. He wouldn't make a commitment and they couldn't afford to sit around and wait forever. If he wasn't going to play, they needed to get Aaron Rodgers ready to start.

I can't blame the Packers for how they handled it. They didn't want to go through any more summer's of Favre's crap. They ended up with a better QB anyway.

Brett Favre is 40 with a bum shoulder and coming off an awful season. You'd take that over Aaron Rodgers?

Rodgers was fantastic last year. He stepped right in and filled Favre's shoes and had as good a season as Favre has had in a long time.

The reason I said I hope Favre beats GB is because I'm kinda old school, I realize ever since FA began their are no more players that always stay with their team, not many. But Favre led GB to a championship the year before and even though he was wishy-washy with his decision to return they should have let him come back, he has earned it, he never missed a game c'mon.
