This is pretty much what I'm talking about here.
And I'm not saying 'poor Dez.' I'm saying he has a right to respond to this sort of thing if he wants to, just as you have a right to anonymously post it.
Dez has no understanding. Like writers, you can't pay attention to the readers/fans are saying. If you do, you've already failed because you're worrying about the wrong thing rather than what's really important. Your job.
I don't agree. He's out there. His name. His work on the field. The other guys are throwing turds anonymously over the internet.
Plus, the players actually have the benefit of knowing what's going on in a way that these average fans do not. They know what plays were called, what the responsibilities were, what the reads should have been. If not when they run the plays, then the day after, when they cover the footage in the meeting room. The fans are just guessing or, in most cases, going off of who's in the frame of the tv shot they happened to see. They might have been drunk. They might not really know much at all about football. Yet they consider it their prerogative to log onto twitter and go after a guy, or a guy's family, and justify it because they spent money on beers and a jersey at some point along the line.
It doesn't go both ways at all. Now, if Beasley's tweet to your account, drunk, telling you how much you suck at your job when he doesn't really fundamentally understand what you do for a living or why, well, then I take it all back. In which case, I'd say you have a right to tell him to eat a breathmint, too.
When do trainers/coaches accountability come into play here? He shouldn't have final say when he can return until our "world class medical staff" guarantees it is the proper action for the player? There is absolutely no reason for Dez to feel like he has to fall on the sword on behalf of the ineptness/incompetence of the organization; Medical Staff, JJ, JJ, JJ, JG, etc.
Some of us understand that Dez. Just get well and come back stronger next year. Go Cowboys.

Just look at Romo if you are skeptic?
Not much to understand about catching a punt........you either catch or you muff it
I wonder if Peterson took to Twitter to blame fans for his muff yesterday?
I highly doubt it
Hard to say, as I don't follow athletes' social media unless there's a story around it. But it'd be his right.
To be clear, though, Beasley *didn't* go to twitter to blame fans for the muffed punt. He took responsibility for it. He took issue on twitter with how a fan was behaving *because* he muffed the punt, which is obviously a completely different topic.
Just like you have the right to anonymously post, insuitating something wrong with my anonymous post, while you yourself are..........wait for it..................anonymously posting.
Why do we do that? Becuase its the SMART thing to do; And we dont have names like Dez Bryant.
Of course, nothing is "really" anonymous on the InterWeBs. But, no one cares about what a regular fan says...
regular fan deosnt make X.MILLION gauranteed, to be able to ..."handle it".
Although, I really dont think it effects Dez that much....he gets on, says his peace, and gets on with other things. Like Monkeys. What he is doing is pouring gasoline on fire....a little at a time though, not the whole can. He is just playin..............but, its just add more fuel to the fire. Why would you want to do that?
forget bitter Cowboys Fans...... The new HC at Philly is anonymously posting "@#$#@$%#$%$5" about Dez, just to get his attention and screw with his mind...................................and it works!!
I got nothing wrong with the anonymous sharing of opinions. But even here we have guidelines for how people are to treat other people with a certain amount of respect.
That's not what we're talking about in Dez' case, though. The athletes aren't anonymous, but their detractors are. From there, take away the basic respect requirement, and you have the environment where guys want to defend themselves from disrespectful anonymous crazy.
How much he gets paid to catch footballs isn't relevant, either. I have no idea why people think acting like jackasses is ok if the guy they're disrespecting makes a lot of money, but those things aren't related.
As far as fuel on a fire goes, as I said above, if he wants to set the record straight, knowing it's just going to egg on some anonymous jackass, that's his prerogative. It's not going to affect his play on the field, and it's going to blow over in the long offseason anyway. Until and unless it's a PR issue for the club, it ought to be fair game. Fans should recognize it for the natural reaction it is, and take it in stride.
He can't hear you and won't ever see your post
The bottom line is Dez is a whiny little diva. My best friend works at Valley Ranch and there's almost always a story of him being a whiny little *****. Once a week.

Is he friends with the liquor store owner?
If you're a professional athlete, you have to have a thick skin. Getting all UMAD and engaging in childish interaction with fans is just plain stupid (and immature). You have to question the mental toughness of those people if *anonymous* on the interwebz can get into their head like that.

I believe the impatient part, because that man loves football, and thats why he's my favorite player.
