That's SOOOOO you, Lex...

However, as an aficionado of sartorial splendor, I have to throw a flag on you-- no white belt, matching the white shoes... just add a white tie, and you've got THE LOOK...

That's theo not me :D

Tom Landry would wear one each and every Sunday, and pay the fines. That man defined 'Class'.

Gimme a break.
Landry dressed like a mid-manager at Sears.
And he wore that stupid little hat.
If you want to define class, maybe his vision, the way he carried himself or his actions.
But not his sartorial style. It was strictly off-the-rack at a Waco Sears store.

Good that the NFL is letting him wear the suit on home games. I wonder if the fans would still dress up in suits. It would be kind of cool to support the coach and team by doing so.

On a side note, what we probably are not hearing is that the deal to let him wear his suits during home games mean that none of the home game will be televised as to not break the deal with Reebok.:laugh1:

All they need to do is add the NFL logo on the pocket and bingo it's legal.

It so stupid.
RBK must think that the suit is not marketable to their target group, which is probably males 18-35 or 18-49. Ridiculous I say, I love suits and just wearing one make you feel more important and successful.

The flux capacitor! Of course! This looks perfectly natural.

Looking sharp.
After those pictures, its hard to argue against wearing a suit. Both men look classy, professional, and ready to coach.

I think Reebok misjudged things, and that this will actually be good for them.

We see the Reebok logo on everything already, and I think they'd be surprised at the guys who are huge NFL fans that might buy something like this. No, these suits won't be seen in Wall Street boardrooms, but I could see the guy who just has a couple of suits for weddings and whatnot and isn't trying to dress for success wanting a suit from the official NFL brand.

I still don't see why the NFL refuses to let coaches wear suits. Just cut a licensing deal with a suit maker.

i don't see why reebok doesn't take advantage of it and make a friggin suit.

Nothing screams marketable like a custom made Reebok suit.

reinvent the "sports" jacket and get a symbol like nike for cuflinks or something.

this is a slam dunk they're just flat missing out on cause they're too busy selling the inventory they have on the shelves now.

The ones they wore last year were made by Reebok.

If you mean make them available for the average joe to buy, I agree. And I bet they do that now that these guys will be wearing them every home game.

I just don't see it. The market for suits and sport jackets is too prissy.

Actually, I think that they have a nice window here. A lot of grown men are babies and won't wear a jacket and tie because they claim it is uncomfortable - a totally ridiculous statement, of course, since a good quality suit is extremely comfortable.

If Reebok can market this as "comfortable" formal wear then they might have a decent market.

Of course, my guess is that Reebok didn't make those suits in the first place - they probably had CK make them for them.

Oh yeah. Does anyone else see the irony of this thread title "fight the power" -- and we are talking about fighting the power by wearing suits.
