When I saw McCarthy start Steele the first week of the season I knew we had a issue.
Well, that's half true. Rodgers is a stud. However, his SB win came behind a defense that was 1st in getting turnovers.Rodgers made him look VERY GOOD.
I started threads on the subject of firing McCarthy after the Browns loss.
This team plays undisciplined, uninspired, and just flat out awful.
There is nothing encouraging about him as the head coach. And don't give him excuses about the injuries. Every team is facing injuries.
After Zeke's first fumble (terrible ball security), I would expect a coach to get in his face and at least have a talking with him, which may have prevented the second fumble.
Part ways with him now. He's done nothing in 6 weeks to suggest he could take a team anywhere.
He's done in the NFL.
I'll start a thread like this after every week for the rest of the season.
I agree with you, but unfortunately due to upper managements own issues with admitting mistakes, this will take three years to happen.I started threads on the subject of firing McCarthy after the Browns loss.

He will, it’s just the stupid mask!
He’s a statue out there. Zero emotion or interaction.
Dare I say it, but I would nearly take the clapper back over this. NEARLY!
It’s hard to grade a coach when he’s lost over 10 starters including their starting QBevery coach was handed a bad hand....so lets not go there....
The sad thing is, McCarthy owned Garrett.
Please.
Rodgers owned the Cowboys.
Not every team has 12 guys on ir, not every team is trying to implement a new system missing most of their best players. I'll give it more than 6 games to pass judgment on a coach that took over a train wreck of a team, full of overpayed under achievers.I started threads on the subject of firing McCarthy after the Browns loss.

If McCarthy doesn't pan out then we're doomed in the Jerry Era (we probably are anyway). He is the last ditch effort...a proven coach who could command Jerry's respect and learn to work with him and Stephen. We know Jerry is never going to give up full control again like he did with Parcells.
I for one agree wholeheartedly. He does not need an offseason. Nor a training camp. Nor less injuries.
He is not a first year coach but has been coaching for 2 decades and won a trophy doing so.
He is no more or less limited by the global pandemic than any of the other 31 teams who faced all the same challenges.
He shouldn't have been hired in the first place and should be fired tomorrow.
It's almost a dead heat nowadays as to what this team is because it ain't the Cowboys. Here it's either the Dallas Daksters or Dallas Excuse Makers. One or the other. It ain't Cowboys.
He ain't a part of the solution, he IS a part of the problem.
This why you don't get retread head coaches.
