Yeah, Haley had 12 and 14 sacks in his two good years, seemed to always have back problems, and people think he was Reggie White back there, and spent most of his career with the Niners..and I think he's in there HOF or whatever they call it.Debatable. Haley missed an entire season's worth of games, was lackluster against the run, and was (literally) a mental patient In the locker room. His contribution has become wildly overrated because of a few quotes by Jimmy. The Cowboys had an extremely talented defense and I never felt any of their titles hinged on an injury-prone pass rushing specialist. It just doesn't hold up to reality. Haley's brilliance was always in his amazing first 5 years in San Fran. We got the washed up version.
So even though I hated Deion before he came, loved him when he was with the team, and hated him again instantly after he left... looking at RoH history I would not object to his induction. He is one of the best players in NFL history, he was here long enough by the Jerry standard, and he helped win a Super Bowl. The end.
I appreciate his impact, but has no place in the ROH. Ware had 20 sacks one year, he should go in 5 minutes after he retires
