So you don’t want help for the group that sorely needs it, regardless of what’s been done already - even if it was wrong??

No, it’s not about me being AGAINST IT, just questioning the fit, reasoning, and return on investment, given prior resources put into that position group.

That’s silly.

Look at the snap count versus the number of splash plays each player had (Sturm put that together).

I’ll give you that Jaylon has been more durable but to equate that to “better” is nonsensical.

I know this was not your point, but look at Gallimore compared to A. Woods in his rookie season. Think we might have something with this guy.

Continue fooling around cowboys and KJ will sign elsewhere....

Agree, his agent will get that call while in old jerrah office and the other team will pull a Mark Cuban and Damien move on Shark Tank, you have to except the deal now or the offer is void. Yes or No what will it be.

Just wondering, any evidence Wright will play for cheap in Dallas?

Because Dallas can't afford a high priced free agent at this point, and any contract re-workings would cause more problems down the road. We've seen that before, please let's not do it again....

LVE is the second coming of Sean Lee. When he plays hes effective (save last season), but is often injured. The signing of Wright may be what LVE and the team needs to keep everyone healthy and at the same time improve the D.

Its a no brainer and if the sticking point is 1yr vs 2yr then the Cowboys front office is literally stupid. At the end of the day, after this season we do not have a sure thing LB even though LVE and Smith are under control. If they stink out the joint again, Smith is a release candidate and LVE's 5th year option will not be picked up. So what do we have left at LB? Glifford, Bernard and what ever we draft this coming season!!!! Neal is a free agent unless resigned.

Signing Wright is a no brainer, know Quinn D and can instantly become the QB on D.

I don't think he comes for much less than $7M a season, probably why he is still sitting out there and Dallas has some pause.

We know he would not play for Seattle for a home down discount, he is on record saying that.

Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright wants to stay in Seattle, but he doesn't plan on giving the team a hometown discount to do so.

Wright, who is scheduled to become a free agent in March, told Jim Rome he didn't plan on taking anything other than a market-value deal.

"I do way too much on the football field to take a discount," Wright said, via ESPN. "It makes absolutely no sense. If you want to win all these championships and look good on Sundays, you've got to compensate your guys that are making plays. ... I have a family and I'm trying to set up long, long-term success for my family."

Wright signed a two-year contract in 2019 worth $14 million, plus bonuses. After playing out that string, the 31-year-old would like another bite at the apple before his career closes.

The veteran's preference would be to stay in Seattle if the Seahawks brass shows him the money.

This comes down to respect. If he's going to play for a discount it shouldnt be for Seattle based on what he has brought over his career to that football team. If he's going to play for a discount he can then choose his "dream destination" as he puts Dallas as. Why stay in Seattle for less money on a team that has so much uncertainty surrounding their leader Wilson. Go to a team that just locked up their leader long term with a DC that he as always liked and succeeded with.

If he feels Seattle is on the downslide, and Dallas is on the upswing, he might take a bit less to play in Dallas, but I'm thinking his price would still be more than Dallas should pay.

But we may never know...

I think his mind set is to not take a discount for anyone.
