I think the Cowboys would take Sewell over the other 3 but my gut feeling is they would take Surtain over Slater.

He was talking earlier on The Fan today. This may be just conjecture on his part, so take it for what it’s worth, but he says that he thinks the Cowboys “final four” that they may realistically have a chance of drafting would be listed in this order:

1. Sewell
2. Slater
3. Surtain
4. Horn

He suggests that if any of these guys are there (or all of them for that matter) that if we pick at #10 that we would take one of them IN THAT ORDER.

He suggested that the Cowboys believe that Pitts will be long gone before the Cowboys pick.

I’m not sure that I believe that they’d have Slater slotted there.

Fish is full of it. He said a month ago the Cowboys don’t feel Slater could start on this team ahead of Conner Williams, then he said the Cowboys love Farley. He is just throwing darts to see what sticks.

Like the list. Not sure about Slater over Surtain but its probably a toss up.

I think 3 of those 4 will be there at 10 (Surtain, Slater and Horn). Find it hard to believe Slater would be the pick over Surtain. Curious what the final grades on these players will be...but if it is close, they will go need even if Slater is graded slightly ahead of Surtain.

Cowboys rank players but doesn't mean they will always follow that board. I can't imagine Slater being the pick over Surtain or Horn unless there's legit concern over Collins. Sewell in the unliklihood he falls I can see why they would rank him first and may take him.

I'm wondering if the Cowboys believe they're better at CB on the front end of the roster than the rest of the fan base thinks? Diggs, Lewis, and Brown are better than their performance last year, but they should be looking to upgrade.

Slater is most certainly on the Cowboys draft board above Sertain and Horn. They will be true to their board if all of those players are still available when the 10 pick arrives. So many of you who are in disbelief about Slater being picked first is not paying attention to what the FO has been preaching. BPA in accordance to their draft board is how they will draft.
