Nope, he claims good players.I have no doubt. He'll sign 8 bums and has beens to fill holes. He fills holes through FA every year.

The argument he made wasn’t that Dak had a better playoff record. He brought up how bad Moon’s was. And you argue against a .3 difference??Dak’s record is worse.
2-5 is a 0.4 playoff win rate.
Moon’s playoff win rate is 0.43.
And Dak has had a LOT more surrounding talent on his team than Moon had.
That's not going to happen. That's as unlikely as me marrying Shakira. Is Jerry and son, who believe in their system, and said as much recently, going to totally abandon it? Nope.Nope, he claims good players.
The contract Dak got will rank up there with one of the dumbest signings in NFL history. Worse than the Daniel Jones signing. Worse than signing Jamarcus Russel.Dak's a loser.
Rookie year to a decade in nothing has changed except his pay.
He's the same loser now that he was in 2016.
Jerry could've stacked any of those teams and the opposing defenses would still have the same strategy. MAKE DAK BEAT YOU.
And the Cowboys would lose. Because Dak, like aways, will fail.
It’s the worst contract ever. The contract Dak got will rank up there with one of the dumbest signings in NFL history. Worse than the Daniel Jones signing. Worse than signing Jamarcus Russel.
No it won’t lol. He got an All Pro. Daniel Jones was ***….Jamarcus literally did nothing. But sip lean lol. And Deshaun Watson is by far the worst contract ever and it won’t be close. And when Tua’s career ends because of concussions add that one too as well as Trevor Lawrence’s lol….The contract Dak got will rank up there with one of the dumbest signings in NFL history. Worse than the Daniel Jones signing. Worse than signing Jamarcus Russel.
There wouldn’t have been a negotiation.Jerry snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
He actually said he would lets the season play out before awarding massive contracts.....and than he flipped.
He would have been negotiating with a 31 year old QB coming off a bad year and a torn hamstring
Not to mention how he talked about him after the injury. There wouldn’t have been a negotiation.
Jerry clearly regretted this contract by the way he was talking about Daks play before he even got injured.
Literally said “I thought we’d look better with Rush”.Not to mention how he talked about him after the injury.

I followed the conversation….did you read my post where I said you are arguing over .3? Just arguing to argue to argue.Learn to follow a conversation.

Dak has the worst starting playoff record in NFL history
Then KJJ replied with:
Not sure where you came up with that. lol Warren Moon is in the HOF despite a 3-7 playoff record.
Therefore, KJJ was arguing that Moon had a worse playoff record and Dak has a better playoff record. Which is incorrect.
Thanks for keeping up.
We will see. It will be fun to watch. That's not going to happen. That's as unlikely as me marrying Shakira. Is Jerry and son, who believe in their system, and said as much recently, going to totally abandon it? Nope.
Logically, I dont see how a 60M contract does not hinder your spending. The Dallas Cowboys have a "Blow It Up'' plan which calls for the remodeling of the roster in 2025 fueled by a potential $100 million in cap room.

The $100 Million Cap Room Question...
8 free agents but I would imagine that most of them will be bringing our own guys back. Golston, OSA, Hoffman or Martin, Anger, Turpin, Lewis, Dowdle, Kendricks, DLaw, and one of the backup QBs are all probably candidates to return and many of those guys will be looking for significant raises. Even if they go the $100M in cap space route that money could get used up much quicker than fans think. I think they may have around $25M to actually play with in new players acquisitions assuming they restructure all the guys who have been mentioned. Thats probably one player in the Stephon Diggs mold or 2-3 lower level guys. I'd expect a more exciting offseason than the pervious one, but not by much.Fisher is saying tonight that the Cowboys will be signing a lot of free agents this time. 8 is the number he is claiming.
Your past examples really prove we are at a competative disadvantage with our current GM.The Cowboys are not going to clear $100 million in CAP space in 2025. That is a ridiculous statement. Can they? Probably. Would it be wise? No. Will they? No.
First off, Dak is going to be a $90MM cap hit in 2025. They can restructure his deal, of course and convert salary to bonus to push the problem down the road. I wouldn't, but they probably will. Maybe they shave $20 million off the CAP that way. CeeDee will be a $35.45 million CAP hit. $26.85MM of that is salary so he too could be restructured. I think they will definitely do this. How much of it I do not know but almost certainly they will do it. Micah is due $21 million in salary but he will get a new deal and that could save them close to $20 million against the CAP. It depends on how they do these deals. If they go to the extreme, they can probably get close to $60 million from these 3 players. I hope they do not do that because it means prolonging this CAP problem beyond 2026, something I would avoid.
DLaw, Martin and Cooks will all be free agents after this season, and together they have about $22 million in dead money whether they play for Dallas or not.
Terence Steele is an $18 MM CAP hit next year. They could live with that, or they could cut him depending on what happens in the draft. They could save $4 million by waiving him. Making him a June 1 cut saves them more. Maybe they attempt to trade him. He won't get much in return but he might get something. Do not put it past Jerry to restructure Steele as well.
But based on this past off-season, I don't think Jerry is going to clear that much CAP space. He doesn't need to because he doesn't use it. He signs free agents that cost a few million. He does not sign guys for $10 million or more. Stephon Diggs is not going to play for $3 million. But Cooks will be a free agent after this year so maybe Jerry opens his pocketbook. Again, he didn't in 2024, not for a RB, not for a DE, not for a DT or anyone else. Maybe he signs Diggs to unite the brothers as a publicity stunt but if he wouldn't sign Henry for $8 million I don't see him signing Diggs for that kind of money.
The Cowboys are projected to have about $23 million in CAP space going into 2025. That's for 40 players under contract. They can clear $40 million to $60 million by restructuring Dak and CeeDee, then extending Micah. But Jerry has to do this quickly and not delay until September like he did this year. The Cowboys have a bunch of free agents of their own they need to re-sign or replace. Waiting to extend Micah like he did with CeeDee and Dak does not help during the free agency period.
No, he is claiming the 8 from other teams. It will be interesting to see what happens.8 free agents but I would imagine that most of them will be bringing our own guys back.
