Fisher: Speculating Beasley deal - 4 yr/13mil agreement reached Post #10

The question left to figure out about the deal is the deal an actual 4 year deal or is it a 3 year deal with a unlikely to be seen year at the end of it.

No, he's not a No. 2. He's purely a slot guy.

But that's one of my favorite quotes of all-time about Leroy Hoard: "If you need a yard, he'll get you three. If you need five, he'll get you three."

That's an old line that has been recycled for many running backs. Don Meredith used to use it for Walt Garrison all the time on the rubber chicken circuit.

Love this deal. He came on later in the year and I think he will improve next season too.

Absolutely love this kid! I look forward to seeing even better chemistry with Romo next year.

Cole Beasley's new 4-year contract w/ Cowboys will keep him close to home and his parents

Ammendola a #1 ? He has like 800 yards and 3 TD's since being in New England :).

I'm talking about when he was with the Rams. He got his contract based off his Rams production. He's been injured every since he got to New England.

These guys in the OP massively underestimated what he was going to get.
The described about 3 mil for 2 years in total, I think.
He gets 14 for 4 yrs and a whopping 7 mil guaranteed.

Yes, because they're clueless. Just as clueless as those who think Murray is getting anything less than 4/$30 with $20 million guaranteed. He will get at least that, mark my words. Fortunately, that's the deal I think the Cowboys will eventually offer him, so I hope he takes it. LOL.
