Reality is this time of year last off-season we were doing nothing almost. No urgency. This right now is the polar opposite of what we saw last year. I see a change. Something is coming.

Pointless to debate DLaw's asking price if we don't know what it is IMO. He played for 10M last year.
What we should all very much understand by now is you win games with talent and depth.
Turning our nose up at players is fine if it gets us a better option.
Kneeland was flat awful last year though, and he needs to be a backup unless he can play a lot better.
DLaw is at best a stop gap but a stop gap beats no gap.

He certainly didn't have any real competition as Mike only got 2 interviews and lost out on both.

If you are expecting Dallas to bring in another mega star who will want 30+ million per year to stay here, that ain’t happening.

I think we will see more action in tier 2 and look to sign some role players prior to the draft, but even then don’t expect Dallas to overpay and sign B players to A money.

6 of the free agents are important pieces for the team.
As to projecting here and now,

Cowboys restructure Prescott and Lamb deals, but any impact on free agency is murky only as it requires time to observe.​

The team will not leave a functional hole, and that goes without tears.

The money and draft are both there for use.
