Free Agency Rumors Thread

He's pretty tall for a DT (6'7"). He would be a better signing than the two JAG's so far but that's a little like being the tallest midget.

10.5 sacks in 8 seasons (1.3 per season). 29 years old. Missed the last 5 games of the season last year.

Seems like a legit replacement for Hatcher. I'm all for it!

:)

He's a poster boy for what the Cowboys are trying to do with their DL. Seattle signed him last year to a cheap deal and he started (at the 3) for the Super Bowl champs who had a killer rotational defense. (He started 15 games last year so did he miss the playoff run?)

Him or Freeman, remember they won't be our starter, Freeman is young and can still develop with right coaching staff which I don't think we have, Weeden is old and hasn't shown much

I'd be for it. He'd already know the system.

Someone ahead of us on the waiver system might well claim him first, though.

You must have seen something in him that I didn't, CL.

I thought he could play coming out of the draft. I was wrong.

I'm not saying he's some star, but I think he'd be a decent backup.

Besides, Orton has a pretty decent cap number. If we cut him and add Weeden, we could sign a couple more Terrell McClains.

Staying out of FA is not such a bad thing.....mostly.

Tell that to the Super Bowl Champ Seattle team from last year during FA. Tell that to the the SF team who has been busy for 5 years now and who go's to The NFC championship game every freekin year. Oh,,while your at it, remind John Elway of that also. He spent more than anyone last year and so far this year. I think they went to the SB also....
