Bennett had his first really good year last year. It took him seven years. Roster spots are far too valuable to let someone's maturation take place over seven years. Besides, Michael is a running back. They should develop a lot faster than a pass catcher.

Ok. So you don't like CM. I think we get it now.

I didn't like Randle, DMC, or Dunbar either but I have adjusted to appreciate what value they bring. Regarding CM, you will to.

Question. Why wasn't Michael the #2 running back in Seattle? Why was he expendable to trade *IF* he is really as good as you think he is?

As much as you want to, you cannot justify what happen to Michael except to say. Seattle didn't believe he had what it took to be their #1, #2, or #3 running back, so they traded him away.

Clearly, he is not as good as you seem to think. While he may have the physical ability, he lacks what it takes upstairs. Otherwise, Seattle never would have traded him to keep UDFA RB and an old has-been RB to fill their #2 and #3 running back roster spots.

Why isn't turbin still there? Why did the raiders trade us the wr? Why did we get McClain? Why did we trade for cassell? Why did we sign Collins? Why did we sign romo as an udfa? Why ask why? Just give the guy a shot! And he will get his chance and from the sound of Stephen they expect good things. Might not happen till next week but I am 85% sure it happens after the bye.

Do I need to mass produce signs? Cmon man... We need a thumper & neither of our top two RBBC are it.

It is pretty much a guarantee that a thumper would have run it in during that early opportunity down inside the 5 where we came away looking like fools. They gave it to Randle on 1st down and then completely got scared when he got pushed back. With a thumper in there, Linehan still has the confidence to mix it up on 2nd & 3rd downs and we potentially take it in vs settling for a FG after running an incredible amount of time off of the clock. When you control the clock for 8-10 minutes, that's supposed to end with someone in the end zone. Period.

Couldn't agree more. Except for that 85% lol. I'm more like 87.89%.

It took Romo four years to prove himself, but he did prove himself. Michael hasn't proven anything except that he couldn't even be Seattle's 4th RB.

Apparently you still don't like them. You're ready to replace them with someone who has proven nothing.

If he ends up better than those three, then I'm all for Michael playing. He just needs to prove it to the coaches. If he does that, he will get his chance. Respect should be earned, it should NEVER be given.

It seems there is a possibility he might actually get a chance this week. We shall see. It isn't me that makes that decision. It's the coaching staff.

I'm sure that's the game plan with Michael. Might still be learning the playbook and earning the trsut. However, you cannot fault everyone for wanting the next man up if, specifically the ground game doesn't get going. I don't care who it is but atm Randle nor DMC has done it in my eyes. Look, even the coach and owner want to see the run game going so something is up. Maybe it is the oline or the defenses we've played but that's not going to change. We are still going to have the same oline and the defenses we play don't look Weeden friendly for the next 8 weeks. So, I'm thinking the leash is pretty short right now for the lead men of our RBBC.

I think Randle has been decent. DMC can go away, I've never been a fan of his. I think it will help a lot once Leary gets back. His power is huge in the running game. Hopefully Collins can get up to speed sooner rather than later too.

Decent is OK when Romo is back there. It doesnt get easier without him. I see this as maybe like Marion Barber coming in when Julius was our lead guy. Seems like the oline blocked better for Barber the closer they got to the red zone. There is more to the ground game than just running and blocking. It could be the timing? Cohesiveness? Trust? I'm not saying to get Michael in there if he's not ready but sooner or later when he gets a chance we should all hope he gives a spark to the ground game and the offense. That's all we really want. To have a respected run game behind our all pro oline.

So why are you so against giving CM a looksie then? We appear to agree that he can take snaps from DMC RIGHT NOW? Did CM steal your lunch or something?

I said he must earn it. If the coaching staff thinks McFadden is the better choice, then McFadden is the better choice. Until he proves otherwise to the coaching staff, he will not play.

whoever, whenever........just give someone else, a shot. Becuase right now, its not working.

Is it not working because of Randle or the fact that Leary is out? You know, the Giants and Philly have a pretty good defense. Patience grasshopper. :)

On Wednesday someone tweeted he would be unactive until injury to one of our stud RB's.

OK I included the word 'stud' just to stir the pot. :D

Lmbo...

That's like calling Sam Bradford a shining model of courageous quarterback play.
