You can't read that entire story and not be highly alarmed by the depth and multitude of accusations. Way too much smoke for there not to be an A&M bonfire behind it all.

This is starting to look like the OJ trial.

...unless your a Pats fan/apologist. Then it doesn't matter how much evidence is piled up. Hell, the Pats could even come out and publicly admit they cheated and some who post here would claim that they really didn't cheat and just made up the statement for the good of the league, or some such BS.

This is just the butthurt NFL going to their official propaganda mouthpiece, ESPN, to smear the Patriots in the wake of major courtroom defeat last week. So they bring up years-old, discredited allegations to get all the usual haters all riled up.

Well, it got all the usual apologists all riled up, too.

I'll tell you this, I have long wondered why teams are OK with using the wireless headsets during games. How hard could that be to hack?

You know in New England that those opponent playcalls are probably being piped through the Patriots' coaches box in 7.1 surround sound.

The Watergate scandal was a major political scandal that occurred in the United States in the 1970s as a result of the June 17, 1972 break-in at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquar.ters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C.,

Here's a picture of the WATERGATE COMPLEX

Its was called "Watergate" because the stuff happened at Watergate

At this point, I now question every SB the Pats have "won".

As you should.

And each and every question you and others, and when I say others I mean players/coachesin the nfl.

Here ya go....

PATRIOTS VS EAGLES SUPERBOWL

This article released less than 24 hours ago..

When Spygate broke, some of the Eagles now believed they had an answer for a question that had vexed them since they lost to the Patriots 24-21 in Super Bowl XXXIX: How did New England seem completely prepared for the rarely used dime defense the Eagles deployed in the second quarter, scoring touchdowns on three of four drives? The Eagles suspected that either practices were filmed or a playbook was stolen. "To this day, some believe that we were robbed by the Patriots not playing by the rules ... and knowing our game plan," a former Eagles football operations staffer says.

Although, I have to buy rogah a beer for this one.

PATRIOTS VS RAMS SUPERBOWL

Former Ram and Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk has said for years his team was “cheated out of a Super Bowl,” and the ESPN report details plays the Patriots appeared ready for that the Rams had never run before.

What’s new is the charge that years later, when the information about the videotaping was made public, that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell called former Rams coach Mike Martz “in a panic,” asking him to write a statement saying he was satisfied with the league investigation into the matter. Martz told ESPN that he wrote something and sent it in.

Martz told ESPN, “I always felt something happened but I didn't know what it was and I couldn't prove it anyway. Even to this day, I think something happened."

PATRIOTS VS PANTHERS SUPERBOWL

"The Panthers now believe that their practices had been taped by the Patriots before Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. "Our players came in after that first half and said it was like [the Patriots] were in our huddle," a Panthers source says."

How does something start with the NFL when the Patriots cheated in the first place?

They were the first to lie.

It wasn't Roger Goodell paying guys to dress up as Kraft Productions and film on the other team's sidelines.

And it wasn't Roger Goodell paying guys thousands of dollars, giving them sneakers and autographs to deflate footballs.

Just like it wasn't Roger Goodell getting wi****l in a speech being remorseful to owners for cheating.

And it wasn't Roger Goodell that said he 'didn't understand the rule.'

Nor did Roger Goodell say that he never touched footballs during the week.

What Goodell has to explain was his helping coverup the Patriots cheating which if Eric Mangini didn't get fed up with them trying to cheat against him, nothign would have ever been done about it.

So, you're wrong.

It starts with the Patriots and ends with the Patriots. Kraft is a snake oil salesman. Belichick has zero respect for the game of football. And Brady is a sham. All together their legacies are forever tarnished.

YR

You are 100% spot on, but your target audience is so far up the butts of anything and anyone associated with the NE cheaters that he/they will never admit that the cheaters would in any way, shape, or form do anything even underhanded, much less cheat.

The Patriots didn't have people disguised on the other teams sidelines filming?

They didn't lie about the how many games they taped? Or they were only taping defensive signals?

News to me...since the Patriots admitted to it.

Exactly what I said in another post...the Pats could admit to cheating and the apologists would still deny it occurred.

Gee, Rog...posting the url for that site which includes allegations of cheating for the Dallas Cowboys is a new low. The first thing on the Cowboys list, that salary cap "violation" (in a year where there was no salary cap) from a couple of years ago where the Commanders and Cowboys took an enormous hit against both teams' salary caps can't be compared to the "consequences" the Patriots will "suffer" from Deflategate...a 4-game suspension for Brady that isn't a suspension at all.

You should really see if the Patriots have a message board and go hang out with their fans. You'd be a better fit there. In my not so humble opinion, of course.

Preach girlfriend!

I have said it before.
The Pats Super Bowl wins were all by only a few points. Less than a TD.
Any edge IMO could account for that.

I have stated this many many times.

It is irresponsible, illogical and flat out biased if you think otherwise.

Their SB wins..... Losses

3 win
3 win
3 win
3 loss
4 loss
4 win

To the further point.

If you win a Super Bowl by 3 points. Like the pats do.

It is very believable that if you cheat by knowing plays or hearing the play call. You can create a 3 and out when that team may have scored on that drive. Because you knew the plays,

It's very easy to figure out where the advantage pays off for cheater.

I'll take the beer but let's be honest: What the heck are they even saying here? The Patriots scored 7 points in the 2nd quarter, 7 in the third and 10 in the fourth, for a grand total of 24.

Are they honestly saying "The Patriots scored 24 points in Super Bowl 39, therefore they must have been cheating"...???

It lists all examples of all 32 teams. Yes, the Cowboys are among the 32. As are the Patriots.

Are you honestly comparing a $10 million cap penalty (spread out however they want over 2 years) to a loss of a 1st round pick?????? Talk about a new low! :D

So many of these accusations don't even make sense to those of us who are truly informed. Mike Martz has been whining for almost 15 years about how the Patriots knew his red zone plays. But fact is that the Rams only made it into the red zone once in Super Bowl 36, and they scored a touchdown on that drive. What the Eagles say makes zero sense. "The Patriots scored 24 points against us, so they must have been cheating!!!! Ignore the fact that Donovan McNabb was blowing chunks the whole 4th quarter and we were huddling up with 3 minutes to go in the game while we were down by 10!!" What the Panthers say makes zero sense. The Colts sweep for listening devices, but of course don't find any. The Patriots apparently have operatives working in every airport and hotel in the country. They steal playsheets from opponents' locker rooms, only nobody has ever been caught doing this (which is totally asinine since an NFL locker room is never empty for a single second from the moment the visiting team arrives to the moment they leave). They can see the CBS Scene Video Board from their sidelines so that's cheating, only the thing is about the size of a dime when you are on the Patriots sidelines.

1. You are incapable of honest.
2. Read it. They explained and I highlighted in great quoted detail.

A warm, flat beer for you.
You may have highlighted it, but it still makes no sense. There is absolutely no evidence that they cheated other than the fact that they scored 24 points over the course of a full game. How is that even evidence???

"We ran a dime defense, but they scored 24 points against it, so they must have been cheating!!!" :lmao::lmao:

Tom Brady is a notorious dink and dunk QB, my friend. Running a dime defense against him is pretty much your worst case scenario. Maybe that's why possession receiver Deion Branch caught 11 balls for 133 yards. But congratulations on echoing the wisdom of the typical Philadelphia Eagle fan. :D
