All Huston has to do is bring a QB such as cutler or Fitzpatrick or any other ufa for a visit and Jerry will cave
"Cave" to what?

I didn't realize a transaction was finalized and we got a 6-pack of coronas and a pack of Virginia slims for him?But but but I heard here we were getting a boatload of picks from Houston!
If you were Houston and know that Romo will be a June 1 cut then why would you offer anything substantial when you can pick him up without giving up any picks? Just need to beat Denver for his services.
To secure his services now while being assured that you don't have to give up anything if it doesn't work out.
Understand that but I've not giving up anything substantial for someone that I know will be cut. If I were the Texans I wouldn't. Maybe a 5 or 6 rounder this year and maybe a conditional 4th rounder next year if that.
Cowboys won't have Romo one way or another, and we may not get anything for him. I have come to terms with this.
But this is the definition of getting too cute if you're Houston. You are a Romo away from being SB contenders, and are wanting to have the cake and eat it too by getting Romo and keeping the draft pick.
Almost hopes Denver swoops in, and wins the bidding war at this point and Houston throws their SB away trying to be the smartest GM in the room.
They pretty much resemble some steelers fans I was close to dancing with in a sports bar last year( not ballroom dancing either.)I really trust the opinion of these guys:

And that appears to be the game they are willing to play. I wouldn't do it, but we'll see how it works out for them.

Seems like Cutler is the only alternative if Houston loses out on Romo.
Cutler has a major attitude problem, but he has a cannon for an arm and is way better than freaking Osloser so at least they can tell their fans they upgraded.

Cutler is Osweiler with more experience. He still isn't and will never be a SB contending QB.Seems like Cutler is the only alternative if Houston loses out on Romo.
