You keep in house it does not benefit anyone crying to the media, for god sake TO and his reputation should know that better than anyone. Do you really think by going to the media and whining is going to buy him any sympathy or change anyone’s opinion including that of the person he is throwing under the bus.

Personally I think we've got a better chance of embarrassment forcing the current braintrust into action more than keeeping it in house would.

Let them show us that new 'get tough' policy they keep talking about!

Let them put a gag order on the players the same way they've muzzled the coach!

Let them get forced into changing the way they're doing business because this stuff ain't working!

I've never been a fan of political correctness anyway.

They were talking about this on ESPN 1033 right now.

Apparently Staubach said that Romo should be greatly offended by his WRs comments, and that when he played, WRs complained about getting the ball, but never did it in public.

Even TO-lover Nate Newton said that TO needs to learn that he's leading guys like Crayton and Williams astray with his public comments on the offense.

These fools will never learn.

No offense to Staubach, but RWs wasn't talking about Tony Romo, but Garrett. Again, I love how everybody tries to make this an issue of Tony Romo, when Tony Romo himself went out and said Garrett doesn't put players in a position to make plays. It is as if their is an agenda by certain people to defend Garrett at all costs, and they are just as guilty of trying to create divisions as the so-called locker-roon cancers. In this case, it is trying to get Romo against WRs, and not against Garrett.

Uh, last time I checked, three WRs went specifically to Garrett, and what did Garrett do? He continued to use his WRs in a manner against what they thought was best. Garrett is probably an arrogant prick...

That has never worked on any team and it never will. I don't care about PC but I do understand the workings of a locker room, hell you can get into fights and shouting matches all you want but you keep it in house you work your problems out behind the closed doors running to the media has never worked unless you are trying to force a team to get rid of you.

how he is "bashing Garrett's offense"???

he says he didnt get the ball thrown to him enough...first off he needs to get open, second off the QB has to decide to throw to him

"I thought with me and T.O. out there, I thought that was just like Fitz (Larry Fitzgerald) and (Anquan) Boldin out there, but I don't think they used us correctly this past season. But hopefully this season with training camp under our belt we can all get on the same page and win some ball games."

Whatever Roy Williams said, confirms exactly what both TO and TR have said. There is no disputing the issue, and no amount of back-spinning to try and absolve Jason Garrett can change it. Roy WIlliams called out Jason Garrett in politically correct terms.

And BTW, I'll take two Pro-Bowl Wide Receivers, one a Hall of Famer, on knowing what makes a good WR, then a back up QB, whose only coaching experience prior to the Cowboys, was a stint as the QB coach of Miami with the likes of Joey Harrington.

And what happens if they tried that and nothing happened?

What happens if Owens says "I'm tired of running straight into double coverage" in private and nothing changes?

Then what?
Perhaps TO should try not quitting on routes.

Roy Williams is on GAC right now.

He's a complete idiot. He's ripping Garrett left and right.

This team is a complete mess and thinking that it's going to get better any time soon is a complete fantasy.

What a loser RW11 turned out to be. Maybe a worse trade than the Galloway trade.

From what I've seen, the behind closed doors approach only gets more of the same.

The same as in what got us to 9-7 and no playoffs.

I'm all for shaking up the status quo and exposing this team's dysfunctionality.

Perhaps Tony should stop underthrowing TO into triple coverage with the best ball hawking FS that EVER lived playing centerfield.

Yep, he says opposing corners asked him why did he run the same route every week with no variety.

Sounds he he thinks he was just a decoy... Well, like I said, IMO that's why he was brought in here.

Funny, he also says he wishes they'd run some slants.

Also funny that he backs TO as he throws Garrett under the bus.

BTW, Galloway is saying what many of us are thinking: Why are you making this public? Why don't you blame yourself? Why didn't you play better?

WHen you've got Owens and Williams jogging on routes, running the wrong routes, and generally acting like they're Cincinnati Bengals, maybe Romo might do a little better job.

Both of them need to learn their place. Michael Irvin - maybe TO's biggest fan - has said as much many times.

So it wasn't the foot, it was the fact that Garrett thought he was a WR only capable of running decoy patterns... Or was it that Garrett's playbook was such a pathetic coach, he didn't know what to do. Like you said, he asked that he wishes they would throw some slants, which seems to point to the fact that it wasn't the fact that Roy was a decoy, but that Garrett didn't mix anything at all.

So it looks more and more that Terrell Owens was right...

When I listen to Roy Williams, my first thought is he's not smart enough to learn more than one route. He's fast becoming my 2nd least favorite Cowboy.

That would help too!

As would some accountability on the part of the players.

I'm not 'blaming' just one side here.

Plenty to go around.

And that will do what? I do think Roger and TD know what they are talking about and no I don't think running to the media will do anything. WR wants the ball? Wow that is a big shock in the NFL all this does is reflect what little kids we have running to the media, hell by the time they are done I'm sure most will feel sorry for Garrett for having to tolerate coaching little kids instead of highly paid grown men.

These player have a job to do, do your job which is to play not coach given the cash they are making that should not be hard to do.

One day when you are running all your routs correctly, holding on to the ball instead of dropping it then maybe they will have room to talk until then they are as much of the problem as anyone else.

It is easy to throw others under the bus I doubt RW and TO would like getting thrown under the bus for some of their own short comings.

Interesting, Galloway asked him about Romo and if he was a problem, and mentioned the meeting with the WRs and Garrett.

Roy said lets get one thing clear, I never went with TO and the other receivers to meet with Garrett. I never said anything about Witten or had anything to do with any of that. I only met with Garrett one-on-one and asked what I could do to get involved. I never complained about Romo or any other player.

It is actually quite amusing. All these 'children', from Roy Williams to Tony Romo, have come out and criticized Garrett. AMazingly, Garrett is avoided once again as the man to blame. No wonder he keeps getting offered head coaching jobs. He's quite good at absolving himself of blame, even when he is the primary reason crap hits the fan.

Irvin said TO should never, ever go public with complaints about the QB or about the offense.

He said that TO needs to accept that the QB is #1.

He's indirectly criticized TO many times, although he's a bigger TO-lover than you are.
