Two things..

1. Aikman, Harrison, and Dungy all agreed Beasley made the correct read to sit down on the route with the corner having outside position

2. Garrett with a very poor, 'it was a Romo check out from a run on that play'. Plenty of time for analysis later, really hangs Tony out to dry, no need for that right now.

Then you tell him to not change the play you horrible excuse for a head coach.

The play was called, romo changes it, and you still dont place blame on the coach.

You cant make this stuff up...

how can you throw player under bus who was responsible to two 4th quarter interceptions. He is already under the bus without garrett.

a thousand likes deserved...could only give one.

It's classless and reeks of pointing the finger. Good thing he isn't a ship capt. He'd probably trample some kids trying to get to the rafts.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when George flees a stove fire in an apartment by knocking down the kids on his way out the door. LOL!

it doesn't matter if we were running or not with 90 seconds left, jason

Because a HC has no ability whatsoever to tell his QB to stop calling audibles, right?

apparently last year he was making up his own sandlot plays in the huddle so take away his audible and thats what he might do

The first INT. When C.Matthews almost sack him, because OL runblocked to the right.

Yep. Anyone doubting this simply needs to go back and watch what OL did on the play, they clearly thought it was a run.

Did Romo check out of 3 straight run plays at the end of the 3rd quarter? Did he check out of all the supposed run plays that came before the INT to Austin?

Garrett is a complete joke. His play calling is atrocious.

But I thought everyone on here loved it when Romo was in control of the offense lol
hahaha, so funny. Everyone said that they'd rather Romo call the plays because Garrett sucked. Now they are saying that Garrett should not have allowed Romo to change the play. Romo lovers are confused.

Leaving Romo out to dry , once again. I swear this coaching staff makes me sick, Never have I seen a more moronic group of imbeciles..

they should have called him out long ago - they have been taking the heat for his decisions long enough

I wonder how much does Romo change plays. I bet he does it a lot.

So Garrett is saying that Romo defied his explicit orders not to call an audible?

I wonder what the repercussions are for that.

A 100 million dollar contract until you're age 38 or so.

who cares about the last INT, there were 90 seconds left. People were asking why we weren't running the ball 2nd half when we had the lead

Harrison and Dungy are noted Romo critics. Aikman never said he made the correct read to sit down. He said he stopped on his route and he did so because of the defender who made the pick and so it wasn't necessarily a bad decision, implying that it was a probable mis-communication.

Garrett is a weasel. He relies on Romo to get him out of his asinine play calling. That way when he does pull them through, the positive of a win far outweighs the negative coaching and people forget, whereas when Romo makes a mistake it is magnified a la the media theme and so he can deflect part of the blame onto him.

I'm sure Romo and the offense could have played better, but this loss is on the defense and I'm not certain why it is even up for debate.

Speaking of defense, what ever happened to Jason Hatcher? Is he still playing?
