Garrett just said Romo checked out of a run on the INT

@SportsCenter Romo has 7 INT's in losses w/ team tied or up by 1 possession in 4th/OT, nearly twice as many as any QB since '06.

that is downright ugly stat and one that will make it virtually impossible to have playoff success. Add onto of that an incompetent defense and this team really should be drafting higher if it wasn't for weak division.

Here! Not the sort to bail on the guy after the career he's given us for blowing an audible at the line.

We really gonna call everybody out for everything tonight? Can't we just be bummed by what happened without turning on each other to get a little bit of validation? Won't there be time this week for us to turn on each other and descend into madness together? I think there will be.

Why? It's not as if the Romo-Above-All crowd gives us any quarter after he plays a good game in September against a bad team and puts up 300 yards and 3 TDs.

That has got to be on Garrett, All that takes from Garrett is "Hey Tony, automatic run here, no run/pass option."
I am not defending Romo but common, he is the HC for crying out loud.

That's true. But your quarterback has got to understand the game situation. It's 2 and 6. Let's assume the back doesn't get a yard, you still have 3 and 7 with time running off the clock. Romo has to know that.

Why was it an empty backfield if Romo audibles from a run?

Saying that Romo audibled the call.

Garrett trying to savce his job lol.

What about the 40 yard pass to Dez when all we should've been doing is trying to get first downs????? Was that Romo's fault too? Aside from several left-wing politicians, there's not a person on earth I dislike more than Jason Garrett right now.

Of course he has and he should've but if I'm the HC I'm not giving my QB that option.

Why are you guys arguing who deserves blame?

They ALL deserve blame. Equally. They all also suck equally.

to clarify, the change from the run was on the first interception, the one where Matthews rushed un blocked and Romo threw to Austin. Not the last interception......

And again, Garrett even has a microphone to talk to Romo. The moment Tony starts to try and call an audible he should be screaming in his ear "Just run the stupid play I told you to!"

Absolutely Romo's fault!

Dez was five yards behind his defender. Could've iced the game.

The QB missed him…again.

Someone should ask JG "Who gave Romo the option to audible?"

I don't know what play you're talking about. On the play I'm referring to, the DB was right with Dez. It was basically a jump ball and a stupid play call. RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!!

Tony is what he is. A second tier qb. I posted this before the game and got jumped on by several of the "romo is the savior" crowd. This is why he's not a top qb in this league.

If you're talking about the same play where Dez had to stop and drift back to an under thrown ball, where the DB ultimately ended up fighting for the ball, then, yeah, we're talking about the same play.

Dez blew by the DB. Romo missed, again.

He missed easy TD's to Dez by overthrowing him in the end zone and also under throwing him in the 4th quarter.
