finally some light at the end of the tunnel.
JG will atleast need to reach NFCCG for him to get extended here.
imo.. things are playing out for kris richard to take over in 2020.
Just curious but how we know Jason wanted an extension. I don't think its a reach to think he could very well have reached his limit with the Jones boys.
Reaching the NFCCG and/or the SB are the only way Garrett gets an extension. Anything short of that and he's done.So what gets Garrett an extension next year? How many moral victories does he need?
Richard on the phone with Miami right now lol
What has Garrett done to deserve an extension.....
In my opinion, he's one of three guys in the running:
I think that's why this thing is playing itself out on a one-year basis. Can't hire these guys now, but next year may be an entirely different story.
- Sean Payton
- Lincoln Riley
- Kris Richard
So either he bucks the trend of good year, bad year or he's out.
My question is if this is his last year was his tenure better than Landry's?
Whomever they bring in MUST be able to take Dak to the next level.okay when garrett gets fired and they bring in a new coach what about the qb will they now extend him or franchise him
The same thing he's "done" to be here for over a decade...
They don't need to do either. He still has a year left on his rookie deal.okay when garrett gets fired and they bring in a new coach what about the qb will they now extend him or franchise him
2020 list
1. Sean Payton
2. Lincoln Riley
3. Urban Meyer
Not my list, the team's.
This is quite possibly one of the smarter things he has done since hiring Jimmy Johnson.
Make Garrett earn it.
The only reservation I have is if Garrett truly had the choice to elevate Moore and either prosper or die on the Moore/Kitna hill.
If not, I feel sorry for him.
Wait, no, not really.
