It would be one thing if Romo came out and said the "play calling was great." "The coaching was great." BUT he didn't HE is giving linehan all the credit, and as the QB I'm fairly certain he know what he talking about... so imma go with the person who works with these ppl daily, not the lion king guy on the Internet...

You're right. Because i'm sure in the last 3 years Romo has never credited JG with anything.

Please stop.

I'm sure he has, but when the reporter asked something like, how the in game adjustments have change. He immediately started raving about linehan, didn't even mention garrett. Seriously go watch it... it's totally obvious by his body language, sincerity in his voice, and the things he says.

He is one of the "MUST DEFEND GARRETT GUYS". No use arguing with him. I happen to agree with you 100%. It is becoming pretty obvious that less Garrett involvement = better play. I'm fine with that but it is sad we wasted so much time on the guy who cost us the playoffs three years running by blowing 2 games a season with idiotic game / clock management.

And it's a different story if it's the QB giving the credit...

You obviously weren't around in 1992 or you would have heard Troy Aikman (you know, the QB), give the credit to Norv. Trivia question....who presented Troy Aikman for the hall of fame?

I didn't think the Saints looked prepared to play. The game was almost the polar opposite of last year's game. They were sloppy with the football and probably should have had 5 or 6 turnovers.

The fake punt was probably one of the single worst calls I have ever seen.

I expected them to feature Cooks more with some end around plays as I saw them utilize once or twice prior to today.

At 1-2 you don't think anyone would take any team lightly but the entire team from coaching on down was outclassed by Dallas.

Linehan and Marinelli ate merely branches of the old oak. It must really pain some of you to give Garrett any credit whatsoever. I guess Took Landry and Jimmy Johnson were lucky to have the coordinators they had.

Giving Garrett credit tonight but you provided a very poor example. Landry had assistants but he coordinated every phase of the game personally. He was the OC and DC on game day.

BS he is head coach like it or not win or lose it falls on him.

Exactly. Everyone is very quick to throw the blame when things go bad, it's only right, therefore that he gets his fair share of glory when things go right.

Guess who out coached who? Yup, Garrett and his staff took Payton and his staff behind the woodshed. 3 wins in a row while sitting at 3-1. Haters going to make excuses and continue their hate, but I'm enjoying this!

Are you?

Garrett or Linehan? If it were Garrett's choice, there would be no Linehan and we'd still be amongst the worst in play-action.

You people need to eat crow for making all these excuses for Garrett... He's now effectively been hamstrung and this team looks better, much better.

The difference is, Jason never wanted play-calling duties stripped. Hell, you guys were telling is Kiffen was Garrett's guy because of past connections. And that guy was relegated to 'consultant'.

All you guys were making excuses for him the last eight years. All over the place.

The biggest excuse was not even the play-calling but the fact that the players just didn't execute. Last year, you were telling us how Romo was audibling out of the run plays Garrett was calling.

Man, just stop right there with this Garrett garbage. We got men in motion now, Romo actually boot-legging on play-action passes and running the ball.

We aren't running any power-blocking scheme or drafting OL with that garbage Garrett was running and Callahan with his zone-blocking scheme has done wonders and he was forced to stay by Jerry for a reason, despite the fact all you Garrett homers were telling us Garrett took the play-calling back last year and we still threw it like fifty times with Orton.

I especially love how Jerry Jones over-ruled the Sharif Floyd draft pick of Garrett and the staff, getting Frederick and Jason and Tom having no idea what was going on.

Oh yeah and three of four players of BPAs this year were defensive players and we were pretty much, not my choice, lucking into Miller...

And you guys are telling is this was part of Garrett's process...

It's like a bizarro world here. The hamstringing of Garrett has brought this team success, and homies trying to flip the script.

To get on topic I think Sean is better than Jason but as a staff the Dallas coaches are performing at a high level.

The team has no quit in it. That's awesome.

And please stop talking about that fake punt. The Saints were effectively done and it was desperation.

The bashing based on that call is just over-exaggerated nonsense.

Our team looked prepared in all three phases and played a complete game of football against a good team for the first time since 2009, and before that since 2007. We looked good, and even dominant.

Go Cowboys.

The days when Garrett ran the show. Now we got Linehan and Romo doing there thing with Garrett throwing up the one-point conversion sign after a TD pass.

I had a nice bro moment in the bar last night when I calmly said, "I'm definitely playing the fake here." before the play commenced.

Got a few high fives for that one. Life is good.

Even Jerry knows this is Linehan...

http://cowboysblog.***BANNED-URL***...s-cowboys-training-camp-for-jerry-jones.html/

Don't even get me started in him saying how Garrett kept interfering last year in the offense. And how he's relegated him to paying attention to the defense.

Whatever works, as long as we dominate teams like the Saints.

Romo looks great now that he's getting back into football shape.
