Agreed. Others do have valid points though. JG was doing to much and wouldn't concede to that until he was forced to.
I love the season so far but I'm hesitant to get to high. We are getting into the teeth of our season in the next few weeks.
I for one am going to try and keep an even keel.

I agree. The season has just begun really. We need to play consistent football & not get too high or too low. The Rams game is a perfect example. They played a horrible half but kept playing hard & won a hard fought game. In years past we fold big time.

I must admit, nobody cheerleads betters than Garrett, or throws up a one-point conversion signal on the first score of a game like Garrett...

That Princeton educated genius is really shining through...

Agreed. I'll be holding my head up high after smacking around the Saints. Can't help that.

And yet, your not complaining about this post praising Garrett for his 'process'... So I'm beating a dead horse about you guys beating a dead horse...

I don't have anything to complain about. You however do. You stated your opinion several times now and we get it. It's time to move on and stop trolling this thread.

Garrett is terrible, he is near useless but lucky the cowboys have two great coaches that have a lot of power within the team in Lineham and Marinelli

How is this any different that the Steelers who have Todd Haley and Dick Lebeau? Or Norv Turner and Dave Wannstant? I like the way the coaching staff is set up right now and Garrett overseeing the entire process. That's what great leaders do. They hire the right people and let them do their jobs.

I will to but like the teams in the NFL, you have to start looking at the next game soon.

Oh heck yeah. If we can follow up this huge, statement win with a win against the Texans, that will be a big indicator to which direction this team is heading.

Garrett's team respects him and plays hard for him, and that's a great thing. I've never seen the team quit under him like they did under Wade. I'll give credit where it is due.

But that's where it ends. Our STAFF outcoached Payton and his staff last night, not Garrett. The less Garrett is involved with the offense or game management, the better this team is. That is plainly obvious. Even Romo, the biggest Garrett backer on the planet, said after the game last night that this is the best offense he's ever played in (even better than the 13-3 year, apparently) and he gave the credit to Linehan for his playcalling and adjustments between series.

No, I'm not "complaining" or "whining" or "criticizing" for pointing this out. I was ecstatic as anybody in here last night, and I'm optimistic for the first time in years. But let's not go and crown Garrett and give him all the credit when its clearly Linehan and Marinelli who deserve the vast majority of praise.

Do you see what the topic of this thread is about? This is nothing but an attempt by the Garrett homers to throw it in the face of the anti-Garrett crowd this win... It's bizarro world because the reality is this game supports to a tee exactly the anti-Garrett position...

Quit crying dude. Enjoy the win. Go Cowboys!

We could win the SB this year and you would still be crying this crap.

Congratulations to Jason Garrett. He's building a good team.

So now my comments are disappearing on this forum, but these aren't?

Congratulations to Jason Garrett. He's building a good team.

We'd have Sharif Floyd, instead of Frederik, if it were Garrett. He would still be calling the plays and we'd be drafting power lineman for his scheme that he brought here. Are we going to thank Jerry for keeping Callahan here, the guy in charge of the zone-blocking schemes and running game as well, the guy whom it was reported had conflicts with Garrett last year and Garrett 'took the play calling back from'.

What exactly is this guy building? Maybe we should be praising Jerry instead...

I especially love how Jerry Jones over-ruled the Sharif Floyd draft pick of Garrett and the staff, getting Frederick and Jason and Tom having no idea what was going on.

Oh yeah and three of four players of BPAs this year were defensive players and we were pretty much, not my choice, lucking into Miller...

And you guys are telling is this was part of Garrett's process...

It's like a bizarro world here. The hamstringing of Garrett has brought this team success, and homies trying to flip the script.

Read your last line. That is precisely what you do. And you are right, it is Bizarro. Garrett's doing a great job and I'm afraid (for you) that you are going to have a very long time of criticizing him.

This is the same guy that was telling us it was Romo's fault for audibling out of Garrett's play-calling... Don't forget the excuses about Jerry screwing Garrett over. And here we are with a totally new play-caller...

This is the worst case scenario for these guys: Garrett's plans actually coming to fruition and them being proven wrong. It is really sad when "fans" of the team can't stand the success of its head coach, or even acknowledge it. :)

Spoken like a true hater.

Tell him where he was wrong. What did Garrett do?

I know we don't see everything, .. but I did not see him coaching/discussing anything with another coach or a player. He is a wonderful cheerleader though.

I stand by that 100%. I don't think I was alone on that, even within Valley Ranch. I'll bet there were a few conversations around coach's offices after week 1. But here is the difference. I can say WITH GREAT JOY that Tony Romo has played LIGHTS OUT the last 2 weeks, and that we are blessed to have him. You see Khilaidi, its called OBJECTIVITY. Try it, it is liberating.

Worst-case scenario is Garrett's plans would accord with what we had stated needed to be done. Like I said bizarro world..

lol, you guys are funny. Do you really think he does nothing? I'll bet you any amount of money (man I wish we could actually do this), that his coaches would tell a completely different story than you.
