They said Romo choked under pressure to. Now Dak chokes. It’s a team game. We had no ST. A HC that wasn’t very good. A average Defense that creates no takeaways.

two years ago, in 2018, we were mocked by many that we run too much, specially on first and second downs...now its pass too much.

do you understand what was really wrong with garrett? or because you are stubborn, you just stick to your pass happy theory.

it doesn't hurt to ask....you can learn...even an old dog can learn new tricks

IT's certainly possible for both things to be true, but using one to discredit the other doesn't work very well.

but as a head coach, you are responsible for offense, defense and special teams. the problem is the defense and special teams sucked.

Dak is an offensive player, and thus he is part of the offense, not the other two......you want to tell me only Dak caused us losses last year? not any other player? not the defense. all the 8 losses last year were direct result of his play?

do you want to elaborate to gain some credibility.....it will be hard for you to get any credibility around here....unless you back it up with some solid facts...

Dak has a good win record because in his first season he was gifted with a team that had the most powerful line in football and the best running back in the NFL, in the worst division in the NFL.
Since then he has performed worse every year, and in 2019 he faced a schedule of contenders and couldn't handle the pressure.

Those posts makes me believe that you think it was all on Dak.

You know better than that. Comon' man.

    You seem whiny.
Would you be happy if he produced as he has the last 4 years with the worst surrounding team?

Some fans act like it's a negative that the staff has built a team with play makers. I hop they get the ST and defense up to par, but I wouldn't use the offensive talent as a reason to bash the QB who is also pretty damn good.

By the way, 2019 may have been his best season yet. You're simply using team wins as a barometer.

    Daks QB Rating:

    2017 - 86.6
    2018 – 96.9
    2019 – 99.7

    Performed worse each year?

So Dak is at fault for 8-8? He must be at fault for the 40 plus wins since 2016 as well. Moron. Dak wins it’s the team. He loses its his fault. That’s what you just proved. Also that you really don’t care about facts. Just your agenda

They had the same OL and played in the same division with the 4-12 team the year before, so clearly there is more to it than your oversimplified narrative.

Oh, by the way, it’s blatantly false to say the NFC East was the worst division in football Dak’s first season. The NFC East had more teams with winning records and as a whole won more games that season than any other division.

Too many personal attacks in this thread. If you disagree with the OP's opinion, say so. But name calling and such, just because you disagree is unnecessary.

    1) Yes, excluding his rookie year simply because his 13-3 record in 2016 doesn’t fit your agenda is the epitome of cherry-picking.

    2) If W/L record is solely the QB’s responsibility like you’re suggesting, then Dak’s 40-24 record kicks your ***.

    3) Again, EVEN WITH your cherry-picking of “okay, toss out Dak’s all-time great rookie season”, Dak’s 27-21 record since 2017 is still pretty good considering the garbage around him. Drew Brees went 7-9 for 3 straight years when he had garbage around him. Tony Romo went 8-8 for 3 straight years when he had garbage around him.

You need a new hobby. Football’s not for you.

I'm not saying that it was all on Dak.
But we all saw the games, and we all saw him unable to function under pressure.
Dak put up good stats while the opposing defenses played prevent because they were so far ahead, but when it mattered before the game was out of reach, Dak was unable to make plays under pressure.
Just like he played in college.

So, he was capable of handling pressure in 2016 but not in 2019?
