You have no idea what you are talking about.Says the pot to the kettle.

You're the expert on that, for sure. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Do you call 7 carries for 24 yards and a fumble, production? His career total since 2020 is 7 carries for 24 yards. Do you call that production? Lol How am I living in 1993? Rico Dowdle has done absolutely nothing! What’s your definition of production? The average running back numbers of the last ten superbowl winners might change your mind. Again, stop living in 1993
Let’s see what kind of scout you are. If it was up to you what round would you have drafted Vaughn? I posted a fact, Malik Davis and Rico Dowdle combined for 28 yards rushing against Jacksonville with a fumble. Were you pleased with that? You’re horrible as a scout.
I'm pleased that Rico showed that he can play running back when needed and catch the ball and return kickoffs. He certainly can play. I can see why McCarthy likes him.Let’s see what kind of scout you are. If it was up to you what round would you have drafted Vaughn? Fournette is awful
Chris GronkowskiIDK, I like the young guys, but pass pro is a concern... Will going with them cost us the season?
Who was that guy that got Romo killed vs the giants when he broke his collar bone?
A fullback I think... ?
First off I agree with others who have said RBs are always available. Second, both Cook and Zeke got more than I thought they would on their one year deals so the market still has some dropping to do.Zeke to New England
Cook to the New York Jets
We need to sign Fournette before the only thing left are scraps.
I'm not advocatiing for Fournette, but in fairness, younger and faster doesn't automatically mean better.Younger / faster
I think that's the key. If Fournette could be had cheap I think he would be a serious consideration, but he's coming off a contract that paid an average of $7 million/year, and he would have to be willing to take a short term deal (1 year?) at maybe 25% of that annual price to make him a consideration for Dallas.Maybe he is better, and I’m not even sure about that… but unless he comes cheap, he isn’t enough better than Davis/Dowdell to spend that money IMO.
You got scraps on the roster now. Fournette is not going to go through nobody's training camp. If he signs it will be after camp breaks for any team.Zeke to New England
Cook to the New York Jets

Not hard to find better than Dowdle and Davis.Who out there now is better than the Cowboys have?
Dowdle is a PS player. If he's your 2nd string, you've done a terrible job at the position. He reminds me of Phillip Tanner.Dowdle is better
Yeah, that's the casual fan take, but then that wouldn't explain why teams are constantly trying to find quality RB's, and failing often.First off I agree with others who have said RBs are always available. Second, both Cook and Zeke got more than I thought they would on their one year deals so the market still has some dropping to do.
We have a stud RB in Pollard. He was easily a top 5 back last year and is more dynamic than most of the other top backs in the league. All we need is someone to take some reps each game as he has shown to not be able to be a true bell cow back (as his taking himself out of the first game Zeke missed showed) and also someone to fill in if he misses time which has also happened. Let's see how Deuce looks the rest of the preseason and then we have Dowdle who the team likes and Davis who seemed to do OK last year in limited action. Why we haven't cut Jones, I don't know, but since he is still here he is another guy that may be able to earn a few snaps per game if he makes the 53 (personally I think he will be cut). Worrying about a backup RB isn't something high on my list right now. on cut down day some decent RBs will be cut and we will be able to pick one up then if we aren't happy with the guys we have. But, Fournette was horrible last year and is now just year older. He isn't a guy I'd be looking at unless we are desperate.
There were several very nice prospects. Didn't make sense not grabbing one. Reeks of the McF year.If you are all in like we are the best thing you can do to instantly boost the team is to draft an RB early. We waited to round 6. Deuce needs to get the job done. Should have grabbed one much earlier.
I think that Rico.makes the team.Dowdle is a PS player. If he's your 2nd string, you've done a terrible job at the position. He reminds me of Phillip Tanner.
