If Dallas wins against NE next year, they will find all ways to not credit Dak. “He got lucky”. “The defense won this game.” “Zeke carried him to victory again.” “His wife receivers are just too good and helped him win”. Dak will never get credit and we’ll need to accept it, as sad as the matter is. Dak could be Tom Brady and they would still find a way to discredit him. It’s just the way Dallas fans work.
Imagine Zeke at any point during a Cowboys Superbowl run , getting 270 yards rushing. Then all of the usual suspects would be saying that the Cowboys Superbowl appearance, is all because of Zeke "carrying" Dak. And it wouldn't matter what Dak's stats were, he would still be discredited and they would still say he was carried,
But, with Goff receiving the benefit of the doubt, of being a first round pick and on the way to being "elite" in some fans eyes. He gets a lot of the credit for the Rams making a Superbowl appearance. They'll focus on the good throws Goff made and give him a pass for the throws he missed. Where as Dak's missed throws are harped on.
