Good is good and bad is bad

Dez's biggest problem is he has coaches that doesnt use his strengths as people are now seeing when players leave and do better with other teams.

Taco may become serviceable as a LDE or inside. Right now he is a soggy soft Taco.

His biggest problem is he is a piss poor route runner that just refuses to improve his craft but instead relies on the one jump ball trick as his entire arsenal. It's unacceptable.

Awuzie: will be legit when healthy

Lewis: he'll be our best corner probably already is

Gregory: worthless pot head

Taco: will be a rotation back up player.

Jaylon: will struggle but will improve..solid investment.

The irony isnt lost in you chasting "extreme" views, then resorting to pejoratives and ad hominems when someone doesnt believe that Dez should be benched or cut today or that Parnell is the second coming of Erik Williams

name me all the complete WR's in the league.

No. He's really not. I want to agree with you, it's just not factual. Dez is a terrible value vs what we are paying him and he is a very marginal #1 receiver. Butler is probably better than him right now.

I wasnt getting into the value of his contract and I have no plans to compare his pay to other WR1s. Wether we over paid or not isnt something I was bringing into the conversation. I am simply talking about my belief he is still one of the better WRs in the league. I would ask you for examples of players who are better and be interested to see how big of a list you could come up with, but you actually just told me Butler is better than Dez currently. So I think its fair to say we are too far apart to have an honest discussion. I will tell you I would be happy to replace Dez with a younger better WR in the next couple seasons.

These guys are so disingenuous. Brice Butler? Lol. Dez is overpaid. He hasn’t lived up to his contract and he’s had more than his share of struggles against top corners the last year. Valid criticisms and anyone can admit / acknowledge these things, but these dudes have to take it to the extreme and then act like you’re a fan boy for disagreeing with hyperbolic bs.

If you look at Dez contract and consider it as part of the player he is a horrible value. If you ignore the value of his contract and look at just the player he is a decent possession receiver. Sort of like Boldin in his later years.

No. Not anyone can admit it. They should admit it but they are in denial. Complete denial.

I think alot of what you said is dead on but you have your own biases. Dez is a number one and a damn good one. Hes not Julio or any of the top 6 or 8 wrs but hes still one of the top Wrs in the game. Hes far from perfect but with Dez you have to take the good with the bad.
X isn't a coach, can't possibly have the insight of a scout, but watches the All 22 and that makes him knowledgeable. LOL!! Doesn't know the game plan or have any idea of what a coordinator has called. Just like the rest of us. Taco has played 6 games. I realize this. Some don't.

That's why he's a poster and not a coach. Pretty easy deduction, IMO.

The irony doesnt get any better

I appreciate your analysis of Dez. I don’t agree with it. Nor do a agree with the need to repeat your opinion over and over in threads where it doesn’t belong.

.

It is his shtick. Pick a player and repeatedly post how said player is overpaid or incompetent, in threads that it really doesn't belong in and to a disturbing excess. DId it with Free. Now has his target on Dez.

Poor mouthing Dez by trying to compare him to guys like Williams and Butler. Frankly there is no comparison. Yes, Dez makes a ton of money. He is also our best receiver and it isn't close. People try to post stats that seem to show that the QB forces the ball to Dez and claim that Dez never gets open. If you watch the All 22, you will see several times a game that Dez gets open and the QB doesn't see him for whatever reason. The funny thing is these people will ***** over and over about how our passing game is simple and we don't use Dez correctly but then go after the receiver as well. So everything sucks. Yet the team is putting up a lot of points and seem to be getting their mojo back.

The funniest part is they say Dak's rating and percentage is lower than it could be because he is targeting Dez. Don't you think the QB is going to target the guys that are going to make him look the best. Maybe, just maybe, the other receivers aren't getting open. If they were, and they are so much better at making a successful completion, Dak would go to them more often. It is counterintuitive to look at it the other way. There is no evidence that suggests Dez is ALWAYS the first read or that we focus on the things he does well. Hell, everyone here thinks he is best at running slants and crossing patterns yet he hardly runs them. That isn't his fault. He is doing what the design of the offense tells him to.

If you don't think we are forcing the ball to Dez then I have to assume you aren't watching the games.
