If he comes out, he won't even go in the first round.

I think he could go in the top 25 maybe even top 20. My reasoning, big, strong, good hands, body control, and great speed for someone of his size. Everything about him says effective possesion receiver. He is 6'4 217lbs 4.47 speed.

I like him.

If you like big, tall, fast, and great hands go with Adarius Bowman. He looks much better (and certainly faster) on the field.

Doucet, Bowman, Jackson, and maybe even DJ Hall will go before Kelly.

Because D Mac and Ray Rice look like special players.

As of right now I dont see any special corners.

Oh ok, havent seen to much of Rutgers this year.

Either way i still think we are fine at the RB spot. If we aint keepin Double J around give the starting spot to MBIII

From clips I've watched, McFadden is explosive to the hole, which is a definite advantage, and he cuts the corners really well. Plus, he seems to be big and has good balance, and catches some balls down-field.

That would be a definite help for our running attack. Marion Barber is going to wear down with too many carries, considering his style of play.

I agree but I dont want to hang our hat on Marion Barber for a full season.

Parcells made me a bigtime believer in the 2 back system and everyone in the league is switching to it.

Rice and Barber and McFadden and Barber would just be lethal.

The thing about McFadden is I dont think to many people would argue that before Petersons NFL career started that McFadden is a better prospect.

I've heard that he might grade out higher than any RB who has came out in years.

D Mac would be a crazy addition to this offense and id love to see it happen.

stop the mcfadden madness. What is wrong with this goose guy? This years first rounder and next year's? Holy mackerel if this dude busts in the nfl, you are flushing three years down the toilet. I seriously doubt Jerry will trade away two first round picks for anyone. Parcells has shown him the way. Trade down and get more varied talent cheaper. I would bet that Jerry trades away either our or clevelands first round pick for some more second or third rounders, sorry mcfadden worshippers

You got a great point on that.. Most teams in the NFL now, have a 2 back system now.. I love our 2 backs we have now, and how we use them..

Out of them backs, i would take McFadden though..

But i don't really believe JJ would trade down to get anybody ..

I think a stud ILB could start ahead of Ayodele, and those usually *can* be found at the bottom of the first.

Also think that a RB (not McFadden) could be co-#1 with Barber. No one expects Julius to be back, do they?

I disagree. Hamlin has earned the right to start there again next year.

Phillips will probably be very good, but I still think he is trading off of Reed and Taylor. I don't think Phillips is that special. That being said, I'm opposed to drafting any of those thug POS from Miami.

I'll roll with Hamlin. But even if we got Phillips (which we won't) I don't think he would start right away. He would transition in and probably start his second year.

And, before you spend a high draft choice on a free safety, you might want to see what Brown can do. He's already here and has been soaking up knowledge.

:)

If we keep the O-line deep and healthy, there will be a ton of RB's available good enough to share time with MB3.

We will be needing a young WR stud soon as Owens and Glenn are both getting long in the tooth.

Another great CB would make this D even better.

Giving up two 1's for DMac is a mistake.

The thing about Adarius Bowman is he is so stiff in his movements. Very Frankenstein like. Kelly is more fluid in his movement, better jumping ability, and has far and away better hands. Bowman is strong, but he isn't any stronger than Kelly. This kid is going to be the best receiver coming out of the draft bar none. Mark it down and bring it up next year and I will stand by it.

I feel the same way about Malcom Kelly as I felt about Peterson, though obvisouly Peterson is a bit more talented. :laugh2:

Not I. I stated several times that Peterson would blow the doors off McFadden and people kept telling me watching Youtube wasn't scouting. I didn't just watch F'in Youtube and people are finally figuring it out while he is blowing the doors off the NFL.

Uhh...Bowman is incredibly smooth. He looks much better running routes than Kelly.

Actually, that last statement tells me all I need to know about where this conversation is headed.
