I give him a B or B-minus.

There were some plays today I think he would have made if he had more reps throughout the year. This is why starting Rush the past couple weeks (post-official elimination) made no sense.

Unless Dallas re-signs Lance, they burnt a 4th round pick for today's game.

C. Played just well enough to lose. Needs to work on his touch, accuracy and ball placement. In other words, he needs actual playing time, which was his issue coming out in the draft and is still present four years later. He's a perfect candidate for the UFL.

I think some of the red zone play calling would get worked out with more snaps. Which is why more snaps have been needed.

The whole not-playing-him-at-allseems like a little bit of a head scratcher today.

Former #3 overall pick with untapped potential...?

But as Parcells once said, "Potential is nothing. Performance is everything."
Former UT head coach Darell Royal once said this, “Potential just means you ain’t done it yet.”

Lance’s grade today? C-
He‘s a backup at best. Hopefully not here.

Keep in mind, he didn't have CeeDee...

Any hope for the future?

Or is he simply an average/mediocre QB who can't be a franchise guy?

No shame in being a career backup, but that's not why we traded for him. I really wish he had more than 1 game to show what he could do.
Not accurate enough to be a quality NFL QB.
That throw into the ground in the endzone when Dowdle was wide open for a TD was painful to watch.

B-. To be fair: he played every bit as well as Dak did in every one of his starts, and no CeeDee.

Should have been playing from the time Dak went down. Kid needs playing time but u can see the potential, kid has a very nice arm and some good wheels.
Should have been the tailback this year, he has no future at QB

I'm gonna go with a solid B++, possibly even an A--

Just look at him, young, strong arm, and he can run and break tackles. They should certainly sign him. He has a lot of potential.

For a 24 year old kid who hasn't played he was dynamite. It was an easy B+/A

Fast, electric, great zip on the ball. He's a a priority sign, Cooper Rush can go.
