First of all Nicks is not Dez Bryant. Like comparing oranges to apples.

Well, it looks like we try to replace Bryant with this guy.

Every injury is different and every players recovery is different. Correlation is not causation. For example, Tony Romo took the SAT and was brilliant Sunday night. Eli Manning took the SAT and .....

Hakeem Nicks didn't handle himself all that gracefully at the end in NY if memory serves correctly. Plus its not a bad assumption to make that he doesn't love football as much as Dez.... But I can see how my statements are a little unfounded.

Nicks wanted to get paid and I think it affected he's mental make up a little bit. If he gets with Romo his stock will go up next season.

I thought Nicks career declined because he couldn't catch the ball?

I don't see a correlation between a scrub and Dez Bryant.

Shouldn't we use an elite WR like Julio Jones as an example?

Pretty sure he had same injury, except more severe. And he LIT up the Beagles last night.

Nicks isn't a good receiver. That is his problem... not a bone he broke in his foot years ago, lol.

Hope it isn't Grant Hill

He worded it wrong. What they're doing is trying to find somebody more reliable than Devin Street and the #16(I think).

The other thing is this. As far as I can tell right now there's nothing but speculation as to what exact 5th metatarsal fracture that Dez has. Different ones have a very different healing time and effect. Right now its all guessing games. I'd guess if it was a Jones fracture that the Cowboys would have already put Dez on the IR/Designated to return.

exactly. ESPN decided to go Jones, with what I guess is no proof, and everyone is running with it. Maybe it is a Jones fracture, but it very well might not be. The time table that the Cowboys are saying implies that it isn't a Jones fracture, unless you believe the Cowboys are lying.

This is the same injury that Kevin Durant had. Took Durant over a year to recover, and in fact, he still hasn't.
