Hardy admonished by Cowboys for comments about Tom Brady's wife

I don't think it is a big deal but glad Garrett spoke to him about it. I guess I would rather see players talking about opposing players not their family or wife. Keep it somewhat classy.

Not saying I'm not glad he will be on the football field wearing a star I'm just saying with his previous issues it isn't surprising that there will be backlash when he says something a little off kilter.

Non issue, for sure. A guy can't say another man's lady isn't beautiful? She's a supermodel, not a peace corps volunteer.

Maybe that is the issue. The LADY is beautiful. Had he said Tom was hot and he enjoyed watching him go by, we would never have heard a peep. OTOH, he might have been celebrated as a social hero.

Like I said what's the big deal? He was clearly joking about Brady's wife and her sister. He said he hopes they're at the game. Maybe he's hoping that they see Hardy knock him around and rough him up abit. People as usual are just taking what a player says completely out of context.

I don't think he committed any crime other than being totally naive not to think that everything he said this week was going to be ultra-scrutinized considered what's transpired over the past year or so.

I dont think so, maybe you guys that are in the crowd that rips into Vick every chance they get..I'm sure they'd be getting into Hardy, but not everyone. I think there's a fundamental problem with people in this society that wish other individuals to pay for their wrongdoings everyday for the rest of their life. There's a short list of things I don't believe there is any coming back from, what Hardy was accused of isn't one of them.

She's a HUGE public figure...I didn't think the comments were out of bounds. But I guess given his "situation", he has to choose his words very carefully.

I heard the interview.
For the most part it was great. When he waxed funny, it usually worked okay. The problem with this particular comment, for some, was he just completed a suspension that was related to his supposed treatment of a woman.
The guy sounded like a pretty funny and articulate dude for the most part. Just not the right comment given the circumstances and the hyper-sensitivity of some.

Vick paid for his mistakes and I wish him the best.

Goes the same for Hardy even though I don't think he was even convicted of a crime. I was just pointing out that with his previous issues his statement come across as odd. But from what I'm learning and what I've read the guy is just an odd dude. No crime in that, though.

Frankly there is no reason to begin with. Brady wife is not going to rip the Cowboys a new one, Brady can. Worry about Brady not his wife and her sister.

I agree that I wouldn't care either way, either. But I can't help but feel that if was signed by the Eagles or Commanders some on here would fine some fault in his statements. It's all just a matter of perspective I guess.

I know we are all Cowboys fans and such, but a LOT of people still view Greg Hardy as the guy that got away with domestic violence without a conviction. Hardy needs to be smarter here and stop talking.
