Hardy charges officially expunged

It's insane comparing a four year old kid to a grown woman. Not sure if serious.

This coming from someone saying the beating he gave this

Girl was because Hardy was defending himself.

In case you forgot ........ this is Hardy

what bugs me is that Terry Bradshaw goes on National TV, goes off on Hardy. I don't remember him doing that against Big Ben. Did he?

Big Ben is a Steeler. Why would Terry hold a Steeler to the same standard that he does with a now, Cowboy? It's self evident, isn't it?

Is it really getting on a moral high horse to criticize pro athletes who beat up women???:huh::huh:

Right and to have pictures that back it up. As a guy that has a wife and two daughters Im concerned at the amount of flat out denseness here when it comes to making excuses for this.

It's still ridiculous to compare a grown woman to a little kid.

If you read my earlier post I clearly stated Hardy could've and should've walked again. Didn't need to get an argument with her. Yeah she went crazy and attacked him, but it could've been prevented if Hardy just left. He'll learn from this.

I watch football for football. I don't care about these guys personal lives. I care that they serve whatever suspension they receive. I will never let me kid have Greg Hardy as a role model but I would never want my kid to have any football player as a role model. There are far more important people in this world than football players.

Ok, for you people defending Hardy and his employment with the Cowboys....... where do you draw the line?

Murder? Molestation? Rape? Theft? Abuse?

Where is the line? Or does it depend on how good he is at his position?

Apparently he hasn't learned his lesson yet from what we saw on the sidelines a couple of weeks ago. Despite all the trouble he's been through and just returning from a suspension for being accused of putting his hands on someone he was having a physical altercation with one of the coaches on the sidelines during a game. If he did the same thing to someone on the street he would be facing another assault charge. Hardy has some serious anger issues.

If he has anger issues then you get the guy help. I'm not letting a superstar pass rusher in his prime walk away if I'm the Cowboys. This dude didn't play for two years basically and came back like it was nothing. That's how good he is.

The laws of physics say Brady is innocent.

The laws of biology say Hardy is a woman beating scumbag.

Anyone comparing the two is a scumbag with warped perspective.

Brady was infinitely guilty of cheating the game, just as the Patriots were infinitely guilty of numerous other cheating methods, and it takes a special kind of loser not to admit it.

(What kind of pathetic trash lurks around a message board of a team they don't like day after day with nothing else in life to do? Get a girlfriend or something, if that's even possible.)

There is so much wrong with this girl's story, it's hard to know where to begin. She claims she was choked, yet there's no marks supporting that, which is impossible. She wouldn't leave when he asked her to, which was proven. The argument was about him not paying her rent, for crying out loud. And she was lit up on cocaine while this happened. She had a history of similar claims and situations with other men. It's an ugly situation ALL the way around.

I do think he hit her, but she would hardly be the first girl to throw herself down a flight of stairs to claim violence. That happens routinely if you talk to a cop.

The guy is like so many others in the NFL. Fatherless men who grow up with no respect at all for women because they've witnessed DV their whole lives. It's an accepted culture. That's just the way it is for them.

But suspensions have been served. The court case is over. The record has been expunged.

And now the media lights this up again. Never mind the rapist and the dog killer in Pittsburgh. Never mind the murderer on the Thursday night pregame show. Never mind the multiple offender in Oakland that used to play in San Francisco. Never mind the child abuser with 90 kids in Minnesota.

Never mind the linebacker that was just put in the Hall of Fame that beat the hell out of his wife routinely before killing himself.

Never mind all them.

It's all about Dez, Hardy, and Randle. It's all about the star.

You just described about 45 percent of the NFL.

You sure about that?

I appreciate your response. However, after reading your links, it's interesting that the author (and other sources) notes the use of the phrase "could care less" is ...

1.) A Yiddish form of humor and
2.) is subject to intonations (intonation, by the way, is a word that implies sound)

Now, unless the original poster is Yiddish, then it should be "couldn't care less". Intonation is not an issue because we're typing not talking to one another.

Furthermore, from dictionary.com

Different words and phrases have different meanings in other languages. Also words and phrases evolve over time. When using a particular word or phrase, it is good to note how it is used more commonly in a particular language. The more common use of the phrase is "couldn't care less" particularly in American English. Oh, I'm sure one can find a more obscure alternate to apply (which can be said about anything, really), but the way the phrase is commonly used is "couldn't care less."

And, yes, I Googled it, along with use my own knowledge as a former English assistant teacher. :)

Now you're restricting phrases people are allowed to use based on their heritage? Do I have to post my family history to use Irish phrases? Because I was going say "top of the morning to you" but don't want to be scolded.

Personally, I wish Hardy was not a Dallas Cowboy. But, he is a Dallas Cowboy so that shows how much Jerry values my opinion.

We all know how much Jerry values opinions. We've been complaining for 20 years and he never listens. lol

He'll have to agree to a contract that protects the team in case he gets in trouble again. If he demands a lot of guaranteed money he won't get it. It's anyone's guess how well liked he is in the locker room. He's a great player but carries a high risk of starting trouble.
