Been to 2, unfortunately both losses.
Live in Louisville KY, so saw them lose to the Colts and Bengals.
Plan on seeming them beat the Titans this year.
Just once in the Meadowlands in 1993 against the Jets, I think it was 28-0. I've been to Buffalo and Miami games but i've never been to Texas Stadium. Maybe this year!
Good question - since so many fans are out of state. I'v seen DaBoys in San Francisco,Los Angeles (vs LA Raiders),Oakland, Phoenix and at camp in Thousand Oaks but not in Dallas in "modern" times. As a little kid my father took me to Cotton Bowl to watch the Cowboys in the late 50s. Can't really remember it. But I am determined to see the Boys in the NEW stadium. That will be sweet.
I've seen the Cowboys 5 times in person.
79 @ Steelers 3-14 L
88 @ Steelers 21-24 L
94 @ Steelers 26-9 W
97 @ Steelers 37-7 W
97 vs. Bears at Texas Stadium 27-3 W
i've got tickets to the Skins game in dc on 11/05/06. Can't wait.
Season ticket holder many years. Went to the Super Bowl in Maimi in '79(?) vs Pitt. Notable play includes Jackie Smith dropping pass in the endzone. Had an opportunity to go to the Atlanta SB in '94, and sold the tickets.
Was able to get to my first game at Texas Stadium last year vs Detroit. Saw Roy Williams BLOW UP Kevin Jones when Jones tried to block him on a blitz. It was a big deal for me being from Montreal, Canada. Also got a pic with Roy Williams' mother before the game. Wanted to buy tickets for a game this year but now they are selling regular season tickets as a package with Pre-season tickets and I don't know how many people would buy pre-season tickets on ebay if I try to sell them.
Hey, are you the stupid SOB that sits 2 rows in front of us w/ the "Ticket" cap on, and everytime something bad happens for Dallas, he lets out a loud, "aghhhh yessss", in a gravely voice??
Just one... Dallas at Oakland in '95. We were both 8-2 at the time, the Cowboys had just lost to SF at home (Elvis Grbac).
I was only 10 years old, with my dad, sporting my Dallas gear complete with Troy Aikman jersey... but that didn't stop the drunken Raiders fans from giving me sh**. The fights in the parking lot after the game were intense. Bloodied and battered Cowboys fans galore. Scary stuff. Cowboys players had crap thrown at them after the game, which led Aikman to complain to the media about them. A new rule was therefore put in place at the Oakland Coliseum, banning the sale of alcohol after the 3rd quarter of Raiders games.
Great thing is we won that game 34-21 and went on to win Super Bowl XXX, while the Raiders didn't win another game that year and finished 8-8. Maybe that had something to do with the 'Boys sidelining Jeff Hostetler for the year...?
Ive been to 1. Last September in San Fransisco. It was a great comeback victory for the boys. I was sitting right by where Key caught the winning TD and 2 pt conversion
