It just seems incredible how fast you post news from twitter, so I was thinking your phone is always going off. That and you follow possibly every journalist in the sports world period.

That's because I'm on my 'puter all day for work. I have a browser tab solely dedicated to my media twitter list when I'm on it. Got about 230 people on the list. It's an insane number, I know. lol It's just a matter of flipping back and forth between that and my CZ tab.

I wonder if him being a full time starter with almost no competition here with his old coach under whom he made a probowl is more valuable to him on a one year prove it deal than going to a rotation in Seattle?

Come home for a year, get healthy, increase his value by playing for the coach he had some success playing for and get as many snaps as he wants and then go for a big contract later. He might stand out more in Dallas.

I'm not sure but I assume he will rotate a lot in Seattle right? However, Seattle would put better plays around him which might make him look better(increasing his value) and he would have a great chance to win.

Not sure which is better for that kind if situation. If he wants a long term deal than I'd guess he'd go to the highest bidder.

Well, we had the money to pay both Peppers and Melton then Peppers signed with Green Bay so I can see us signing just Melton

I can't believe I'm getting anxious about whether or not we will get a visit with a FA coming off of a major injury with off field issues.

Seattle has the money to pay and they need him = don't get your hopes up on Melton.

It's gonna take a miracle to win the division this year.

No need to get anxious. If it happens it happens or it does not. He is not a player that would make me anxious.

I'm beginning to think we should just use our remaining cap space to get Ben Bass extended long term. Bite that bullet now.

On the off chance Bass ever becomes anything more than the role player everyone else expects him to be, these statements are going to look pretty silly.

Assuming, of course, you don't distance yourself from them the same way you distance yourself from your earlier positions on Mack and Jason Hatcher.

There's little upside in pretending a role player isn't actually a role player.

You mean a miracle to get out from the bottom of the division.

You can continue to lie about my stance on players if you like. I would too if I was as wrong as you.

It's rich seeing a guy who thought Phil Costa could play calling me silly.
