if you wanna be taken seriously at all, you'll do the same thing you ask of others when it comes to "proof".

That's behind the scenes type of stuff, why would Parcells or JJ publicly state that even if it were true?

"Yes we sent Henson to to the NFLE because he's a bust and isn't going to make this roster."

If anything they would feed the media fluff and tell them that Henson asked to go there, but guess what they have yet to verify these claims either. Nor have they gave a 'ringing' endorsement that he has a future with this franchise or the NFL....these are just facts, so don't hate The Answer for stating The Truth....

HOW? i see everyone saying he needs to step it up, but if all he ever gets is practice, HOW can we know IF he steps it up? bp won't allow them to hit the field during a game, so all this "he must step it up!" is kinda pointless cause he won't be given a chance, so all the henson critics who think he must "step it up" i hope can tell me how he's supposed to do that if he's a

1) long term project
2) not allowed on the field if bledsoe is healthy

Well stepping it up right now would be beating Romo for the 2nd string spot.

I think Dallas fans are the greatest on earth. They have to be - the organization is the greatest in sports. But we aren't perfect. We seem to have one semi-important flaw. Its happened from Eddie LeBaron on. We lose our minds when it comes to QB's. Rational thought escapes us. Can't we just say - the guy has some skills, he seems to have knocked off some rust over seas, he might be ready to assume the role of a NFL QB. Not a starter, but a guy who has a little something. If he develops more great, if he doesn't we move on or he becomes a good backup. Why the rush to judgement? He looked good over there. That doesn't guarantee anything. But it takes time to develop a QB under the best of circumstances. Henson hasn't had the best of circumstances. Because of Bledsoe we have time to let this experiment run its course.

The Answer's theory is that the Cowboys front office (parcells and Jerry Jones) approached Henson and mandated that he go play in Europe in order to 'audition' for the 3rd QB spot since Romo has the back up job locked up. So why would Henson refuse knowing that he already bombed in the MLB and is in danger of busting in the NFL as we speak. Plus you have to remember that Jones already misfired with Quincy Carter and wasted a 2nd rounder, so by sending Henson there at least it makes it look like the front office still believes in him, despite wasting a 3rd rounder. It's all smoke and mirrors to avoid a media circurs over the issue.

So until The Answer sees verifiable and tangible proof from Jerry Jones or Parcells that they did in fact send him there to be evaluated, or give an endorsement that Henson has a future with this franchise...then The Answer will be inclined to entertain his own theories on the situation.

Despite my hypothesis, I still believe that Henson will be permitted to hang around the depth charts for at least 2006, that is unless Mroz really makes some noise in camp and/or we sign another veteran.
