That next week you might not be saying the same thing about Witten.

A player will say anything before he admits he was outplayed. A coach will say anything before he admits he was outcoached. They'll even turn on each other.Bleu Star;1263871 said:That next week you might not be saying the same thing about Witten.

I'm sure everybody has his breaking point. But that point isn't the same for every player. TG's is probably about right. TO's is ridiculous.
The more people we have who point fingers, the more like the Giants we are. Defend that if you want, but to me finger-pointing within the team (to the press) shows a lack of intelligence.
Hey, there's always a reason.Bleu Star;1263894 said:If enough fingers get pointed I would like to believe at least one or two of them are pointed for good reason.

Thing is, you can be a team of character, or just a team of characters.
If a player wants to make a statement, he makes plays. When you have an opportunity in your hands, and let it slip through (literally, figuratively, whatever) you blame the man in the mirror.Bleu Star;1264273 said:Well, if you have a team of characters who is to blame? The character or the director?

"I don't think we're trying to win; no, not on offense," Glenn was quoted Tuesday in the Dallas Morning News. "You have to execute and get everybody involved. I try not to let it get to me. Man, I've been fighting it all year. I'm trying to be a team player, but there's no reason for it. No reason for it.
"I'm not alone. The whole offense is frustrated," Glenn said. "They are looking around saying, 'Why can't we do anything when we have all these weapons?' "
TY, hey he's right and so is TO,and so is JJ. No reason we should'nt score 75% of the time with what we have...We got it arse backward's guy's TO= slant TG= DEEP pass.:bang2:LaTunaNostra;1264330 said:Here.
I agree that the complaints are more symbolic than specific. They are not based on some kind of analysis of play calls, because there's not a lot of logic to it. Glenn got 2 balls thrown to him in the first possession.smarta5150;1264357 said:Them complaining about getting the ball was just a cry out to the defense to get their act together.

It also probably has something to do with deflection of blame. When you drop a pass that would've gone for a big gain, it's human nature to be defensive about it.

Whereas his whine was about ending up with seven points on an offense loaded with weapons.

I am kinda surprised actually that we even heard the cries of TG since TO was also complaining.
I am sure the majority of NFL fans didnt even hear about Glenn "crying" and was only spoon fed TOs cries. (maybe I am being paranoid )

Who do you blame? Why can't I get a one word answer from people?

LaTunaNostra;1264420 said:Well, ESPN has been carrying TG's whine since Monday morning. But every single mediot has said he merits a 'pass' for his crying, based on both the quantity of his crying this year and the quality.
