TO's a good player. No denying that. No, he can't play defense. And I just think that even with his contribution, the 'boys are still 9-6. Meaning, they could've signed another WR, re-signed Key, and the outcome still would've been the same.

It also could have been worse.:(

Right.

I was right there with you until you said that. I guess I just like to respond to these unbelievable posts because I enjoy killing my carpals.

Well please who is blaming all the Cowboy problems on TO? I clearly have issue about TO play and comments afterwards. I also responded to a Roy Williams thread and said he played a poor game, I have also said that both lines of scrimmage were man handled which was in my opinion the biggest problem in this past game. None of that had to do with TO. This thread however was regarding TO so TO is what I'm commenting on. Now you make it out as if everyone is blaming TO for every problem and that is not the case. Another exaggerated comment you are making.

Right. Continue to retract. The piling on of said player is well documented on this board. Please spare me the woe is me routine.

Its pretty hard to involve any of the WRs early in the game when your defense is giving up drives of 89 and 94 yards.

Because Terry Glenn has played and kept his mouth shut ever since he got to Dallas, good times and bad, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say there really is a problem, in which case I'm glad he's speaking up.

The true question is whether Glenn is joining T.O. in questioning the game plans and play-calling, or whether he was firing a shot because he's accepted and befriended T.O. on the team and in the offense and now is upset over T.O. calling for even more involvement and balls...no one really knows which the case is, but there is a problem that won't just be fixed by Glenn going out and playing with his mouth shut...he's always done that...to me this indicates his level of frustration.

Likewise, I say the same thing about Newman's comments...from a guy who plays and never draws attention to himself, to now say too many guys are talking a good game in the locker room but not showing up on the field to back it up indicates there is a problem in this area, and we've all seen it on the field.

Except for Ferguson, we have mostly young guys in the front 7, and not surprisingly, Ferguson is the only guy besides Ware who seems to be getting anything done.

I think our LB's are getting blocked because the front 3 aren't demanding any help...I keep seeing Ferguson making tackles for 3,4,5 yard gains with no LB in sight...that's not a good thing.

Throw him a quick slant.
Put him in the slot. Get him the ball earlier than 27 minutes into a statement game. Do those things and the rest of this garbage fades away.
You can't make it part of your game plan to get the ball to a certain player early just to keep him happy or shut him up.

We're 3-1 when Owens catches a pass in our first possession. But we're 4-1 when Witten does it. We're 2-0 when Crayton does it. Should those guys start whining to the media that they want the ball early too?

Keyshawn was not worth 1/2 the dollards Carolina threw at him. In hindsight J. Walker would of been a much better pickup then TO but its easy say that now.

I really dont think that Dallas has used TO correctly at all, but he needs to stop whining like a little girl when he doesnt get the ball early. No one wants a quitter on their team and I really dont want to root for one.

Get a clue, on a thread pertaining to TO that is what people are going to comment on TO. That should not be hard to understand. As for retracting I have not done that either my comments on TO stand, I think the guy has not shown himself as a playmaker, when he has had the chance to make game changing plays he has failed to come up with the big play. Now we find out if he does not get the ball from the get go he takes himself out of the game and becomes worthless late in games because he was not involved early enough. Player maker make plays not excuses and right now what I'm hearing are excuses of why he can't make the big play and his fan club is doing the same, let’s blame others for TO own short comings.

It should not have been in the interest of getting him to shut up. He talked after the game. Remember??? It should have been inthe interest of making plays and mixing it up to throw the Eagles off. Did we run one quick slant at all? I don't recall seeing one.

Yet even more assumptions based upon your obvious hate for one player. Has he said he did that or is there game film proving such accusations?

Just a thing, real quick.....I probably do this, too. But, it's either a slant route, or it's not. There's no such thing as a quick slant. You could throw it quickly, and it's a quick-hitting route, but a slant is a slant. If it's not a slant, it's a post.

Nevermind. Who cares? lol.....

When he says that they threw the ball to me in the second half of the game but it was too late because I need to be involved early in the game how else can you take that comment? Please spin away I love the fairy tales by the TO fan club.

They threw one to Crayton that got batted down early. I think one of the reasons they werent throwing the quick slants is because Philly was blitzing alot and jumping those routes, but it amazes me how after one attempt to do something Dallas gives up on it. They have done that a lot this season.

That's true. If we do throw the route, it's almost always to Crayton. I don't see Owens in the slot much at all, which is odd.

I just wish Parcells would show all of the balls dropped by Owens & Glenn, then tell them both, "Until you stop this , shut up about anyone else on the team".

This team is getting dangerously close to imploding due to all of the selfish "I, Me" talk, instead of "Us, We". Even TNew said, "This team has too many talkers, and not enough players". How true. Why is it that during his latest interview, Owens wasn't heard to say once, "I dropped two more passes, and I lead the league in that category. Until I do my share and stop dropping passes, and running myself out of bounds??!!, I have no right to say anything about anyone else", if he wants to talk about himself. If he wants to talk about his team, how about, "We need to pull together as a team, and all of us are determined to do so". The same goes for Terry Glenn.

No, instead, they hint that there are problems with the offense, and "it 'aint with us"! Just remember boys, every time you point your finger at someone else, there is a thumb & three fingers pointing back at you!

And people wonder why coaches are so concerned about players with character ....:bang2:

u got an article?? wat was said by the both of them?

Bleu Star...

Get your facts straight...

TO admitted that it's "too late" in the game to get him involved...

Talking about hyporisy...

You point fingers at people and judge them based on their comments yet you fail to look at your own blind love for a player who ADMITS that he's not involved late in the game if the baby doesn't get his bottle...

I posted the stats that prove him AND you wrong...

He gets more passes in the first half than the second...

Nice to know that our $10mm receiver thinks it's too late to get him involved...

BUT, he views himself as a professional...

Oh, the irony...

Tell that to the Titans when they were down by 21 with 10 minutes remaining in the 4th against the Giants...

Get real...
