BreakADawn
De La Soul

Thank you for all the De La Soul, Ron. I love them! So good to hear the great oldies again!

Anyways, I found another sample for our little game. This song here, BreakADawn, was sampled in another of my favorite songs, Six Underground by The Sneakerpimps, 3 years after DLS recorded it. And DLS sampled Michael Jackson's "I Can't Help It", in this song. The chain of music, the torch is passed on and on. Showing love and respect. So awesome. :)

And this little girl is quite a cutie, too.;)

With 57 pages, I'll be disappointed if no BDP has been posted.

57 pages is a LOT to flip thru, but well worth the effort if you're ever in the mood. But, yes BDP has been posted, as has KRS-One. But I'll give you a couple so you don't have to flip thru. Feel free also to post whatever you like (clean versions, lol).
And hey, Junglist, :welcome: to the boards.

Welcome! its so much BDP....... flip through... I think we are well versed, & knowledgable.
Page 4 is where the posting of music really begins.. before that it was just a lot of back and forth.

enjoy & contribute!

A Tribe Called Quest & Leders Of The New School
Live Scenario On Arsenio Hall

Edit:
Although De La had their problems with Arsenio, He played a big part in getting Hip Hop to the masses (good or bad).... His last show was great when Hip Hop artist performed to pay homage.

I am playing this song, because I'm Old Skool like that, :), and because tonight is mine and Lane's 26th Wedding Anniversary. I know he will never see this, because he never comes into this thread, lol, but I'm posting it anyway. Because I love it, and it reminds me of when we were younger and we used to Jam on it, on his awesome speakers in his Chevy Pickup Truck, with the limo tent. ;) Back when this song was new. Yes, we're old now. lol. And it gives me a Really good excuse to play this fantastic throwback song. Happy Anniversary, Baby! :p

And I sure hope yall enjoy it, too, as much as we always have.:starspin:

@lane Yes I remember, we had just met right before. I got to hear that one hissing, at least. lol. Your Rockford Fosgate. But I grew up on your next sound system, your JVC, which was totally awesome, dude. ;) I mean, we spent four years with that awesome system. Remember...our speaker? ;) :p
