How can you extend Dak at this point?

I don’t know how you could justify it at this point. Suddenly the acquisition of Lance is starting to make more sense, maybe the insider guys knew something about Dak. It’s clear this guy isn’t even a middle tier QB anymore there is no way you can pay him that kind of money and compete. There is no defense good enough, no receiver good enough to elevate Dak to that kind of pay and production.
You can’t. It’s time to move on from Dak.

No no no. Lol.

You trade him to another team willing to extend his contract. Obviously, nobody is going to sign him for 1 year and 55M. . Dak will waive his clause for another big pay day. Think NE. Dak would be a huge upgrade over what they currently have at QB. Atlanta would be a great landing place for him. They have a great young rb and no qb. There are places he would agree to go if paid enough.
Yea I realize that but those remaining dollars on his current contract get rolled over into the extension and then dispersed over the life of the new contract. Unless I am mistaken there is still around 100 million remaining on his 160 million contract. Somebody would have to pick up all of that unless we agreed to pay some of it just to get rid of the guy.

This is not a serious question. Even Jerry knows this or it would have been done.
The question becomes, when do you move on.
Judging by Dak''s play on the field and the upcoming schedule . . . No Later then the Eagles Game. If Dak continues then no later than that or Jerry loses the team

Micah does not like losing at anything . . .And Now they are questioning if He and Lamb quit on the team . . . And the 49ers are talking and He gotta keep His mouth shut because His QB $65 million can't Hang . . .

So His squad gets dog walked and shade is being thrown on the defense as if they didn't play inspired ball. What a Crock of """" who can hang with San Fran with the time of possession the offense was producing

It was a pathetic performance by Dak and everybody running their mouths is picking the whole team apart and it is not fair and Micah will not eat it

There is a thread where Micah says he believes that San Fran is not that much better then the Cowboys . . . And Many Fans said shut up you are delusional the whole team sucked

This prideful Lion will not accept the BS that is Dak just to placate the whims of an Old Fool still trying to prove he was right about 2016

I’m sure he would waive his no trade clause if another team is offering a big payday. There are teams who would love to win 10 games and make it to the wild card round. Dak has Jerry by the balls……. What’s left of them. The pats would consider Dak a huge upgrade.
there is no team that could justify trading for Dak to their fan base. Everybody can see he is a fraud. He has no value to any one.

Pretty much what will happen .

Only drama left is when will he be sitting on the bench making stupid faces for the cameras

I hope he doesnt Epstein himself.
Side note . . . what would be the salary cap ramifications

I wonder if his training regimen is the wrong one for his body type. He needs more flexibility or something. He runs like he flippers
You are Right. We didn't think of that

Call Voch, ****NOT-AN-OFFICIAL-SOURCE*** and Holmes . . . tell them we gotta a New Narrative and a New Escape Goat . .
It is the trainers fault . . . fire him. Get the pitch forks ready

Gotta wonder if some of the actual players behind the scenes are starting to tire of Dak. They have to see what most of us see.
Dez saw it a long time ago and got dropped from the team, he was always hyping up Cooper Rush.

Belicheck is known as a Genuis . . . Not an Idiot and Atlanta is building a Future with Youth . . . They don't need a 9 year veteran that is stuck in a "Process"

Only upside would be that Pitts would catch a 150 balls a year

Dak is the last of the main Garrett guys, unless you look at what should be good depth/role players like Tony Pollard and Jourdan Lewis. Be gone with the "Garrett guys".

Fred Warner facilitated the turnover in the Cowboys' redzone. The Dallas D sensationally bailed out the offense by turning the ball over on their own 2 yard line. Now this is where you need your $40 million QB due an extension to show up and develop a drive. The game is still only 0-7. The D just prevented a touchdown and the Dallas offense receives the ball in the second half.

Prescott had a clean pocket yet underthrew Gallup with a loopy throw that lacked velocity. Then he held onto the ball too long and took a sack rather than either taking a shot downfield (worst case scenario it's an arm punt) or used his wheels to get the first down. He did neither and the 49ers made it 14 zip when they got the ball back.

The point being this is what you would expect from a practice squad QB like Rush or a back up not a top 10 paid QB that would be due to be paid top 5 money if Jerry is dumb enough to pay him.

He simply isn't good enough. This isn't 2001 when a team could win the Superbowl with a bus driver. The rules and everything are geared up towards needing some explosive plays on offense and a QB that can make those. This game finally showed all the Dak Lovers that he really isn't the guy. Imagine throwing three interceptions and simply laughing after each one. Oh the intangibles...
I hope he is strong enough for the adversity that is about to hit him like a ton of bricks . . . there is a history in His Family

Being exposed as a fraud on a National level can cripple the psyche of a man. Especially in today's Social Media Age

No extension needs to be done until after the season anyway. Lets see how bad things get. At this point, no other team is paying Dak 40-50M a year. But he will demand that from the Cowboys on the basis of, what else do you have? Jerry can't fall for it again.

I'm seeing some parallels to what people are saying about Dak and Daniel Jones. That the QBs do pretty good when everything is perfect around them. Strong run game, clean pocket, good targets. Which is called, the Fitzmagic effect. When any of those luxuries are not in place, it's the Fitztragic effect.

You can't.

He has to do something in the playoffs, otherwise him and MM have to go. We waste too much time being patient.

It took how long to admit JG was not a good head coach. Jerry is going to die on the hill before he ever admits he made a mistake with Dak. Insert more scapegoats
He can't because He will lose the team . . . Parsons and CeeDee are not having it

I hear you. As much as I want to move on from Dak, I think he is a good guy and I wish him the best, but it is time to move on. They will be doing him a favor by benching him. If his play continues to go south, the social media out lash will be even worse and more relentless.

Our choices are trade him or extend him. I would love to trade him for some draft capitol and find a new qb in the next draft to compete with Lance. I don’t think that’s going to happen. Jerry seems intent on riding Dak regardless of outcome.
He is untradable . . . that ship sailed when Jerry designated him a Exclusive Franchise tag. That was the last chance to get any value for him

He only has value to you

Playoffs . . . playoffs . . you are talking about Playoffs

He has until the end of Philly Week to turn this tail spin around or the dream is over for him
