How did we lose to SFO?

So far it looks like the Cowboys and 49ers have started to head in opposite directions since San Fran routed us.

A game like that just might have woke up Dallas while it lulled the 49ers into a false sense of self worth.

I want no part of playing the 49ers in SF regardless if it was next week or in the playoffs. No thanks. These last two weeks didn't change my mind.

I mean its time to question why we lost because we didn't just lose we got DOMINATED. They've lost to the Browns and the Vikings now. Losing to them is one thing. But we need to ask ourselves why we lost to this team by 30 points.

MM needs to open up the offense .
If Dak throw INTs, so be it, but they ain't going anywhere dinking and dunking anyway... especially if the running doesn't improve.

Dinking and dunking is fine when you can run the football. But if you're predictable and just dinking and dunking with no threat of the run I Just don't know how you can do it.

And I don't think we are. I think if we played the Browns and Vikings we would beat them. So i'm as confused as ever to why that 49ers game happened the way it did.

Same way we lost to the Cardinals. It just happens. They got up to play the Cowboys. Guys wearing F Dallas shirts, guys chirping all week......it was a big game for the 49ers and Cowboys. Vikings with no Jettas? Suffering injuries?

They just didn't look like the same team today.

Yeah, and it's amazing. I know that we played them there, and their losses have been on the road. However, the team needs to look in the mirror and ask some hard hitting questions of themselves.

The 49ers made the Cowboys their October Super Bowl. George Kittle even had a t-shirt made up for the game.

Then they went out and couldn't bring the same energy to the Browns and Vikings. They figured they would roll over for them after the way they beat Dallas.

The 49ers didn't even try that hard against us. Totally knew the offense and embarrassed our Defense with ease. Boat raced. It wasn't even close to a Super Bowl for them. Easy win for the Cardinals too. Pretty embarrassing. They are going to have to re-do a lot of the offense to get to the playoffs. End of story.

MM opened things up a little more against the Chargers and the passing game looked a lot better. But they still need to fix the running game ASAP.

That's my point. I have no idea what sort of preparation the team thought they were doing, but it clearly was harder than it had to be.

Agreed. The gameplan against San Fran was so basic it was pathetic. The two playoff loses to them were one score games so it really stung.

Too early to say for sure but Chiefs and Eagles look like the best two teams in the NFL, again and could be headed for a Super Bowl rematch.

I'm honestly shocked at how bad SFO looks now. That's why I had to write the OP.

Much different scenario here, but I remember the 1992 Cowboys got blasted on MNF in Philly 31-7. Dallas came back and beat them 20-10 the second time and then 34-10 in the playoffs.

Sometimes teams just play awful, even elite teams.
