How To Beat Denver

Honestly, it'll take the Broncos shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers for the Cowboys to have any shot. Multiple turnovers too.

You dont come out and play like its the Super Bowl, you'll be embarrassed by Peyton. It might happen anyway but atleast you can hold your head up high.

In the NFL, no team can play perfect football all season. Denver is playing close to perfect football up to this point.

I hope this is the game where they struggle on offense and defense.

Cowboys needs to send unexpected blitzes. One thing Peyton doesn't like is confusion @ the LOS. If he doesn't know where a blitz is coming, he struggles. Example is the Pittsburgh playoff game in 06 and Falcons game in the first half.

Call me crazy but I think we will play Man coverage against Peyton. There is no way you can play zone on a guy that is that good.

Not just pressure Manning, but pressure up,the middle , his arm strength is not what it was so don't allow him to step into his throws. Run the ball and use play action. Denver likes to play a lot of man-to-man so there is going to be chances to make plays.

Lots of ideas in this thread, obvious choices, but what are the chances they do something different? I certainly think the coaches are speaking of these same scenarios and only hope they install them in the gameplan.

If they come out and do everything they have been doing through the first quarter, it will get ugly fast. The offense will have to score TD's(hopefully, time consuming drives), FG's will not work.

We should know rather quickly if it looks to be par for the course.

Post your thoughts here. This isn't a we can't beat them thread. That is the default position and already stated ad infinitum. But it's any given Sunday so how do our Cowboys steal this one?

Way to beat them is to hit them. Jam the Wrs on the LOS and hit them when they catch it. Dont worry about the run because they arent going to. Watch the screen and the TE in the flats because thats the last resort. But you get physical with them Wrs and Manning can be gotten to. Just depends if the Cowboys are willing to accept a few of them penalties. Carr and Scandrick are physical CBs at the LOS. They have the players just have to be able to play it and accept a few penalties along the way.

When ur done with that keep the ball out of his hand. RUN the ball. Its a big order to beat him especially with the Manning-friendly NFL rules

Peyton has been in the league so long & is so smart there is nothing they can do he has not seen.

Our offense has to play lights out. Touchdowns.

I would send the entire Cowboy Cheerleaders to Manning’s room the night before. I don’t know, that’s like asking how do you stop Jason Voorhees?

It's humorous to me how most of you armchair quarterbacks have a solution to beat a team that million dollar salaried professionals don't......

It's just opinion. I kind of doubt the staff is visiting this board taking cues from any of us.
