These Broncos are not as unbeatable as they're being made out to be. They might be 4-0, but lets keep in mind 3/4 of their games have been at home, with the only road game being against the pitiful Giants. On top of that their 1st 4 opponents have a combined record of 4-12. Dallas is definitely their toughest opponent yet.

Any given Sunday my friends. Have some faith!

I really don't have much hope they will stop Peyton.

So their only hope is keep him on the sidelines with the running game & get a few turnovers.

Not sure that you stop him but you can get pressure to help force mistakes. I really do not care the yards he gets what I do care about is doing a better job in redzone defense and forcing turnovers. Offense needs to be able to run and pass the ball not just to control the clock but to put points on the board.

Protect our quarterback.

Pressure their quarterback with 4 rushers - any more and he will kill us

I think we can bring 5 at time with Lee or Carter both seems to be pretty good about getting quick pressure up the middle. I agree that I would not blitz him all day and we need to get good pressure with 4 but I would still bring the occational LB blitz

We'll know right away how the game will go. They'll come out slinging it down the field & if we get behind early it's going to be a long day. I do not think we can play you score, we score & we'll take our our chances at the end of the game.

Post your thoughts here. This isn't a we can't beat them thread. That is the default position and already stated ad infinitum. But it's any given Sunday so how do our Cowboys steal this one?

Well, four of our Forum ruffians (I half a list of names) git in their cars and block Manning's limo from getting to the stadium. Get the driver and Manning liquored up and provide them with some of the Cowboys cheerleaders to cheer them up. And, because Manning is a venerated personage, of course, provide him with a buffet -- hot and cold -- during the 3.5-hour game and otherwise make him comfortable. Who is the Broncos backup?
Anyone? Anyone?

Frankly I would like to see Denver go down field, SD moved the ball on the defense not by attacking deep but throwing shorter passes and moving the chains that is why it took 10 and 13 play drives to score. Also by throwing the short balls Rivers was able to get the ball out quicker to prevent sacks and his WR and TE made the grabs.

Get ahold of Peyton Manning's food or water supply before the game and spike them with a large quantity of laxatives.

T.O.P. Defense actually playing defense for a full 4 qtrs..

Score points..

MOST IMPORTANT. T.O.P. Battle.

There's 2 sides to that. Just cuz the other team has the TOP edge doesn't mean it's cuz your offense played poorly.

It could mean your defense (even rested) couldn't get off the field. Which was the case this past sunday in SD.

Hit Manning early and often...

But the most important thing is to score every time they're on offense.

IMHO I don't think T.O.P. matters when Manning is in the game. Denver could have the ball 17 minutes and score 40.

Best idea I've seen so far.

Only way Dallas wins is if Manning is on the sidelines more than on the field.

It has to be a Bill Parcells style game. Manning is going to score but if we limit his opportunities with TOP then mistakes by other players keep us in the game, keeps the score low. The goal is to have the ball in the final minutes with a chance to win.

This isn't the type of game where we can have three straight incompletions and a punt. We must establish the run.
